Live action dbz movie - Dbz movie in 2005

:buttrock: Fox is planning to make 4 Dbz movie. The 1st movie starts around the Saiyan Saga. The movie was supposed to come out in summer 2004 but Hugh Jackman(playing goku) got fired. They say the movie is supposed to be around 3 to 4 hours long. They say the other 3 movies will be around The Freiza Saga, The Android Cell Saga, and The Majin Buu Saga. George Lucas' CGI company ILM has sighned a contract to do special effects.The cast will be Ray Park(Vegeta), Jessica Alba (Bulma), Jason Bateman(Raditz), Bill Golberg (Nappa), Vern Troyer(Krillin aka mini me), Orlando Bloom (Tien), and Eliza Dushku(Chi Chi) and also Chris Judge(???). Puar, Oolong, and King Kai will be CGI. (WARNIG:Spoiler) The movie starts off on the saiyans home planet when bardock send his son out into space. Then goku crashes on earth, then trains with monks then train with Master Roshi and meets Krillin. Then 1 night Goku is exposed to the full moon then changes into Oozaru. 10 years past and goku is now married to chi chi and has a 7 year old son. Then radditz lands. Then goku has to fight him. I also heard sumthin about a martial arts tournament. It finally ends when vegeta tells goku that he killed his son and goku gets rea mad with rage and then both of them fight.I dunno wut happen after that. Please do not ask me where i got this info cuz i aint tellin. :buttrock:

Its coming out in 2005. Sets are currently being built at the Fox Studios in Sydney, Australia. They say they might call it sumthin like Dragonball Z: Unlimited or Dragonball Z: Fight for man kind. :buttrock:

It aint the first..and probably not the last time I say this, but: This sounds like a truely, unbelievably stupid idea for a movie. Especially since its cartoon people, with trippy hair blasting things from their hands....yeah, that'll make good live action:sarcasm:

Yes, it is comming out, i heard about it about a year ago. I also have seen who the characters are going to be. Even talked to some officials that are contributing to the movie.

by definition, nothing have been announced yet... yet from what a source inside FOX industries have mentionned and it can be found on the orfficial web site, AKIRA TORIYAMA himself will be writing the story which will make the series complete !

it's not gonna be about DBGT because TORIYAMA doesn't care for that and do not count it as a part of the series !

I just read sum info about the director will be Roland Emmerich(Universal Soldier, Stargate, Independance Day, Godzilla, The Patriot) The script writer will be Tedi Sarafian(who wrote the script for Tank Girl and terminator 3).They also say Piccolo will be played by Sam Wheeler. Believe me guys !

that movie has been in the run for the last 3 years !
its been 3 years since i heard of that movie coming on, and believe me, in 3 years the official web site got 2 news only !

in either case, all MOVIE WEB SITE should be talking about it, but most of them actually don't because they do not have any real informations, all is strickly fictionnal and made up by every fan around !

many great actors would be good in there, but most will reject that anime stuff !
i didn't expect a lot when i heard about it, i was like "That's just bullpoop, not another anime turned into a live action movie, its gonna get DBZ down very fast !"

yet there are a few points read that were true and not fictionnal or invented stories... these were prooved facts. that made me change my mind and i decided to wait for it before flaming it !

1 - AKIRA TORIYAMA will be writing the stories or will help make them be true to the story !
2 - 20th CENTURY FOX is a great HIGH BUDJET company, which means they won't back down on SPECIAL FXes.
3 - ILM just signed in for the SFXes... (Knowing what they made for STAR WARS back in 77, i can't wait to see what they will come up with for this movie)
4 - It will follow, as a four movie edition, the complete serie of DRAGONBALL Z

yet these can and will certainly change during the next years... at least this is what makes me look forward to this movie, because now, unlike SF The Movie... are what really makes great movies !

as i said earlier, nothing other then this has been confirmed !
everything else is purely rumors made by DBZ fans who are so hyped to see it that they are making their movie out of their own minds !

if youthink about this this movie will have a $hit load of special effects. One I want to see how will they do the whole, thing of powering up or transforming to Ssj. Will they really have rocks rise up and all that bright chi surronding them. And what about Frezza,Cell, and Buu wont they be CGI as well? there is also the flying, fusion, use of ki, expolsions, fighting in the air, moving VERY fast. To much specail effects can mess up a movie.
