Hey i just made my new banner, i think its pretty good. I used jasc animation shop, microsoft publishing 2001 and of course paint. Just let me know what u think, if it sux, is good and plz tell why u think that so i know what to change. Thx

also if ne one could tell me how to get the outsides of my banner to be cropped so it blends to the forum background...

1st of all that kens seems a bit naff, the green writing also ruins it a lil and it needs a background colour or a theme colour in general..but i like the part with parts of ur name flashing overall 4/10

guys you also gotta think of what we used he didnt use adobe psp7 like you guys he probly just used that jasc animation shop wich i know is hard to use so ill rate him

well..its a 6/10 cuz its a nice start with animation 'n all.
(i kno mine sux...i had to whip it up purty quick and i really had no inspiration)

but anyways...i use Paint Shop Pro and in PSP or Photoshop, there's a "magic wand" that selects portions of your pic. in this case, it would automatically select those background areas, and u can delete them.
if u had used PSP or Photoshop, u coulda set background to transparent and work from there.

but it is still very nice cuz u got animation and freaky shape (both of which i can't do very well at all)

and u shouldn't make a dude's opinion void just cuz they hav no sig or "banner" as u guys call it. its like how u don't need to make your own huge motion picture to know a bad movie when you see it. ya know?

anyways...good stuff, keep it up...just touch it up and it'll easily go from 6/10 to 8/10 or even 9/10...but without a nice background graphic, 10/10 is hard.
(i'd rate my own sig around 6 or 7/10 cuz i know it isn't that great...so no need to point that out :laughlong: )

thx alot for rating my banner everyone im going to take tommorrow and see if i can upgrade my banner and add a background theme and the presentation of my name in the sig, and i will make a new avatar seeing as how the animations are the same as my sig lol....

ya that was the first time i added an animation to a background texture so its kinda a test run.... im looking for a shinryuuken gif .. i found one but i dont remember the site and ya i will change the font to something better.

about the gifs and stuff just go to venture-gifs.com then click the site button, then go to content, then click ur section like marvel, capcom, dbz and then click ur char that u want

hey i just found the shinryuuken gif and i inputed it in .. tell me what u think .. i know its a little jumpy cause i only took like 10 min. on it and i will change the text and add in maybe a pausing point so my name can stay for like 5 seconds and just have ken in his stance..
