Aiight. After seeing a bunch of usernames (from cool-real disturbing) in the servers....it got me wondering....

Why did you pick your username?
What inspired it?

and if anything else that helped push your choice to choosing a username.

cut me some slack..i tried my best to avoid metnioning the game...and besides...it's a SMALL reference to it...it won't hurt anyone. :biggrin:

as for my name...

years ago....when a card game called yu-gi-oh came out....my cousin got hooked on it soo easily that he was always talking to me about the cards "do you think this card looks cool or this one?"

i wasn't interested in them much..but heck, he's little so u gotta nuture the young mind.

so while he was learning, i ended up learning....

then after about 2 months (i think...likely longer) he found pics of japanese cards..and showed me a card called Dark Paladin. his outfit was so intriguing, that i thought that i could use him for a name... :biggrin:

and that's pretty much it. Why i added the X to it.....i REALLY don't know :biggrin:

I pick my username cause nobody else would up think of it and it kinda has something to do with cloud from f7 and aother thing from f7 but poeple call me zero and i like it ^_^

anyhow i picked my username because once i became vip i needed some special name that shows what a vip is, so....since vips get evil characters rage fit. Plus since being a vip i let my rage go on everyone LOL :D

since i started using a username on the internet i used mastermax becuase i thought it sounded cool and sounded like a master of games (shut up, i was 11!) and it just kept using it, at sites where mastermax was already taken (which is still a mystery to me on how two people can come up with a name as stupid as mastermax)

i would use mastermaxisme ( get it, master max is me ) or mastermax69, for this forum however when i joined i acidentely made the name matsermax without makinga notice, i made a single topic and never came back. then when i came back to px, i decided to use the name ~MasterMax~ becuase my friend ~shadowX~ had tildes on his name and i thought tildes were cool (~ = tilde)

so thus i became "Mastermax", "mastermaxisme", "matsermax", "mastermax69", "~mastermax~", and recentely "m4st3rmax".

my name........ hhhmmmmmmm........ well basically i've always called myself something with machine when im online. i've went from names to like "themachine", "machinegunns", "machine" "darkmachine"......

and basically i feel that a machine represents power. it represents strength and something that is superior. And that's how i wanted myself known when i came to SFO..... i wanted people to know that I was a machine at the game.... i was plain GOOD.

so basically i became machine1. and the "1" is just a number i added on. No meaning behind it.

But now i dont like the name....im sick of it....but i stick to it cause thats what everyone knows me as.... i actually just call myself mac or mac1 now...... thats what i prefer....

oh i picked mine because i pulled this aim prank on my friends dissing them out and then in reality set of traps and on the internet i was known as the grimreaper but then i started watching the batman old episodes with pow instead of actions and i thought to my self why not call my self the mastergrim the master of grimreapers

I really have no idea where blanka came from. My favourite character is still spiderman by the way... but I guess spiderman09 didn't sound menancing enough, so I picked someone from the SF Genre.

Ryu and Ken were already uber popular. Sagat didn't just rhyme and Chunli... Chunli ?? WHAT THE HELL o.O??!! Anywayy, I just went ahead and picked blanka09.. the 09 will remain a mystery though :biggrin:

k0rr1 short for CorruptedOne. CorruptedOne was randomly thought of. I wanted something "different" and this name popped out. I was already tired this lame name I thought of in 2k2 which was "BegForDeath". That name was rather rushed....

Now.. How & why I changed it to k0rr1..

One day my friend saw my name and mentioned something about "k0rrupted1" would sound cooler. I was like "lol? It sounds worst damnit". Then he said, "hey, why not k0rr1? Imma make it my name ight? It's ###### off the chainizzle man."
I thought it was a good name also. It was Short and too the point.

Well... as mentionned every years when every years someone ask the same old question...

the name came from DRAGONBALL : LOST SOUL, a fanfic my friend and i acted in real life in my backyard with two other friends. i was a god-like creature from another dimension (not the one in dbz) he was a god-like crearute for he was able to reduce to slaves anyone in that dimension and use them as tools after it. one day one soul decided to go away and escape Karma's grasp. it took 20 years to karma to find back that soul he had lost.

earth was that soul refuge and it had taken the form of a saiyen for it was one of the strongest race. (btw there are no real form in that dimension of mine. we're like ghost but we're not dead or anything.) anyway i found him and i fought him with all my rage, until he showed a power he had used to escape my enslaving powers. it triggered my SSJ transformation for i too had chosen the SAIYEN form.

so basically i had became SSJKarma. which stands for SUPER SAIYA-JIN KARMA !

i decided to go by that name here too...
man i can't believe we did a full 3 episodes of that one. thought the third one was pretty dumb. first real RPG we ever completed !
BTW, RPG isn't just a type of game for video consoles ok ! in that time RPG meant D&D and REAL LIFE ACTING in a VIRTUALLY CREATED WORLD.
i am still practicing that wth my friends and i can'T wait for him to come here in 2 weeks... but that is another story.

anyway that's how name came up !
otherwise i go for the BADBOY(something) name ! in reference to my favorite movie !

Ok let's see..... back in the day I used the name DemonWreckoning and I got that from demon(when there werent 2 many demons like now a days) and there of course is the word reckoning.... so i mixed it up with a W to make Wreck... which gave the two meanings one complete one. :laugh: and when i came back and decided to go vip i thought my name was too long so i changed it. I had been really into a band called "The Mars Volta" and there first cd was called "Tremulant"..... so i liked the sound of it and took up that name... it makes me think of earthquakes :p but Dinuyasha seems to think it sounds like "pills" for sum reason idk. And the X = I regret adding that nowbecause everyone wants to throw an X into their name.... So it was either Tremulant or a more powerful name..... TremulantX, yeap.... so my basic inspiration is "The Mars Volta" :cool:

Shinatsu is an original name that I came up with while I first started to play this game. (back in 2001) Back then, as you know, everybody used to watch Dragon Ball Z and the craze was so popular. Anyway I noticed the character Shin(the purple little guy in the buu saga the one who teaches fusion) on the show and I started thinking hmmm.......I didn't want to deliberately take the name Shin off of the show so I added ATSU on it to make it sound Japanese(even though I'm not). And I've been known as Shinatsu ever since. It sounded pretty cool to me and....well......that's it
