You can't really say Pistons owned the Heat, because the whole Heat starting lineup was experiencing some kind of injury. Damn, I just wish I could find what injury each player on the starting lineup had.. I'll look for it.

Very nice start for Spurs.. but I don't think it will be a sweep series. Pistons are not going to let that happen for sure. but man, Pistons were killing them.. until Manu got hot. LOL.. That was it. Manu had 26 points and was 9-10 FGs in the second half.

It's over. Today was a "must win" game for Detroit, and they lost. No way in hell are they going to beat the Spurs 4 out of 5 games. It's over.

I see the Spurs winning atleast 1 on the road and then they will win the championship when they go back home.

What a boring ass NBA Finals series. I swear, I never thought a championship game would bore me. This is like watching the Golden State Warriors vs Atlanta Hawks. How "competitive".

Big Ben had a monster game... setting it off right by getting a steal and ending with a hard slam.... Mcdyess and Hunter had big games in the 4th. RIP had a nice second half and Billups scored a few 3s and attacked the basket alot better than last two games... Pistons good win tonight... I highly doubt the Pistons will win 3 games straight vs the Spurs. One reason being they dont have a reliable bench. Sure Mcdyess and Hunter had a good 4th quarter tonight. Though they usually struggle badly. I do not even want to mention Arroyo who slows down the Pistons tempo when he comes in the game as a back-up PG for Billups. Also Billups had a fair game tonight, but he usually go "Jordan" and start shooting up bricks from beyond the arc. Also RIP had a nice second half which in this series is rare... Sheed.... didnt even show up this game and I do not expect him to show up for the rest of the seris... Prince.... struggled all game... and Ben Wallace really stepped up his game tonight from start to finish.... Pistons have to do a much better job tonight to win 1 more game let alone 3 straight...

Ahh, you can't expect one man to play good everything. Have you ever heard, "everyone has their games" ? Some games they might be real good, and some games you might say he deserve to be bench :biggrin:

He's not the only one on the team.. Billups, Rasheed, Ben, Prince, and all those other guys.. they gotta step up when things like this happen. When another teammates are not having a good game. And I'm just not speaking on the Pistons. When Manu was having a bad game, or when Tim was having a bad game, someone needs to step up.. like Parker or Bowen.

First of all man that wasnt a charge....... Close in the end of the game the refs dont call Fouls....... If you Look back in too the game When chauncy Billups Was driving in to the hole and made a 3 point play that was only 2 points, because he drove into the lane made the layup and during that no one was touching him and he got the foul I was like WHAT?!?!..... That couldnt be a 3 point play......... SO it really didnt matter because Horry got the dunk and the foul.... he missed the free-throw and cameback made the game winning 3 pointer........

Like I said in some on CBS Sportsline..... The SPurs were thinking about Party instead of the game....... This game they are more focused then they were game 6..... Instead of thinking parade.... Think of the game on game 7.... SO the Spurs are ready to play and they will win.....

and machine i haet the spurs(although i do kinda like them) and i like the pistons but i really wanted the rockets, kings, sonics, pacers, wizards, bulls,suns,pistons or celtics to go to the finals but hey none of them except the pistons went but i really didnt want them to go that much. so i have no choice sometimes but to go for the team i hate but want to win more. in this case if the heat and spurs played, id go for the heat

i knew it........ tim duncan played a big 2nd half and won the game for them...... i knew that they'd need a good game from him....... spurs 05 champs........ it sucks though cause i f***in hate the spurs to death....but i hate the pistons to death to so either way i would of been f***ed...but i just thought the spurs were the better team and picked them......and i was right
