It's the start to the end of Kazaa Lite ++

The official page has removed it's links to the file sharing program. And when the developers of Kazaa update thier software, Kazaa Lite won't be able to connect to it's servers

well, Kazaa has been the #1 source for downloadind music, as well as other files, but music is the main use for it. People(including myself sometimes) have been downloading songs from CDs and other media without paying the price for them. They could download a whole CD worth of songs without paying a cent for them. They are some people who use it to find other files for download, but when you're burning CDs and need some songs for the burn, you gotta go on kazaa and get them. You know pretty soon singers won't be making anymore songs or CDs if nobody gonna pay the required price for them, as far as the singers are concerned, there's no point in putting time and effort (and voice) into making songs if they're not gonna be worth a cent cause nobody pays for them....then again, I guess somebody would have to buy a copy of the CD to upload the songs on the net so other people can download them, but that's just one person, and I don't think these talented song artists spend all their time and energy into making a CD for one person to buy.

Ah so long Kazza you will be missed. The endless nights of watching you d/l so beautifully. Getting my favorite music for free and all of those other goodies. Ohwell good things arent meant to last. I've never burned a real CD, like a bands full CD. I always make a list of songs I like and put them all up to the 80 min mark of a CD...now honestly, whats wrong with that?

yup, me too........I usually buy the cd's that I wanna buy....... I got all 3 ludacris CD's and the DTP one....... I got like 30 real cd's......... and anyway, no need to burn cd's cuz I got my mini disc :biggrin:

its far from being closed !

at least last time i checked on www.kazaa.com which is the official web site. they never mentionned anything about closing doors !

nor wil it be payed for either. you want you music, no problem take the FREE AD-SUPPORTED KAZAA and you're on for a lot of musics.

lord: the spyware, yes but if you got any software against spyware like AD-AWARE you're free of em. but the worst thing people really should disable is the B3D PROJECTOR which is in fact a big TROJAN VIRUS that lets sharman network control your pc and transform it into one of their servers !

like i said, those ads maybe annoying, but at least i don't get any trouble with the versions and the download here !

anyway, who cares for kazaa... i mean i use it mainly because irc has too many queues. but if i was on cable i would prefer using mIRC and get on IRC channels made specially for films, psx games xbox games, ps2 games, hell we even find GC games in there. all roms for any console, all music from any groups, all thing you ever dreamed for ! so why taking kazaa when you can have the patience and have them all on IRC which is by far, now th ebest piracy site around !

marve|911:fact is. even if you make CDs with lots of song and not one CD in particular... you're illegal as long as you don't own the original CD which contain the one music you got on that CDR of yours ! that's what there trying to defeat ! that's also why kazaa almost got shut down entirely in court, but they won the battle for one reason !

Forget Kazaa...

I hardly download any songs now, I get my cousins to get the song I want occasionaly of Kazaa using his 56k (EVEN THOUGH IM THE ONE WITH CABLE CONNECTION hahaha) ...

It's all about the BitTorrent ... http://www.suprnova.org Download BitTorrent (Shadows Experimental) first and then use the website provided to download manga/videos/apps and basically anything apart from MP3s :-)

OMG..

How could I forget mIRC ... Please forgive me, this is the best! I totally completely blanked my head about this program, yup definately use this along side BitTorrent. I got over 120+ Dreamcast Games from IRC cosisting of all the King Of Fighters, Street Fighters ever realeased! The marve| Vs Capcoms, Snk Vs Capcoms, Third Strike etc all from IRC ...

2 - mirc is legal
3 - what's illegal is what we users decide to share ! (that's why government can't do poop about the software themselves)

kazaa cant be held responsible for the files shared on it. in the terms and agreements it says that only files which you have the rights to can be distributed on kazaa.

and as for the site it's only talking about kazaa lite. which is a better version of kazaa. it lets you know which files could hold viruses and all that stuff instead of just letting people download blindly like on kazaa.

I don't think file sharing is wrong......People buy cds...load the files on their computer an share em.....I think its a person's right If they want to share their music.....Thats like you giving one of you fries at lunch to a friend an then getting arrested.....
