Recording in xvssf - Problems with recording

:buttrock: YO!, I know the command for recording on XvsSF is /recorder 1, Then a box appears at bottom, i click the record button and stop when ive finished recording. Can anyone tell me how i can then view what i recorded, because i cant seem to find the recorded file anywhere :(

to do it in XvsSF, u have to do this:

Ingame open up the chat bar, type "/recorder 1" Then a little bar will appear at the bottom of the screen, so you click the record icon. then the stop when u want to stop recording, but i don't know how to view the recording :angryfire:- It also kinda tells u in the FAQ does anyone know!! Or do u know any other way of recording it?

Bad news for ya... recording was taken out almost a year ago, so you can't record your matches anymore.

ok, let me all get this straight to the point !

like TarkanX said... RECORDING is not working anymore !

here is why it is still there...

about a year ago, before the 4player TAG matches. when the time was only 1 on 1 matches. we could record the games by the option RECORDER in the main menu !

but, when TMYAPP made the 4Player matches availlable to all, it seemed like the RECORDER had a lots of problems to solve, and tmaypp actually thought he had other things to do then get this thing working. so he lefted it like that and only disable the record buttons. so RECORDING is still part of the game like we had it, but tmyapp disabled the buttons so we cannot record anymore cause of the many bugs it was occasionnaly doing !

as of now, tmyapp never had time again to recode the thing !
that's mainly why the option is still there, but it is not working anymore !

here is another solution to that...
you want to record your game...
go download CAMTASIA !
it is a DESKTOP RECORDING software that able you to FILM a certain area of your desktop, or window !
but be sure that your machine has over 256mb of ram because 128mb is really not enough. i know, i tryed... if you're not over 256mb, it will decrease your game FPS by 3x, which will make your game almost not playable at all !

that's the only solution to recording we have now !
i suggest you record in DIVX which will give you some quality, and wil also reduce by alot your movie size ! also, keep the size of the window you're filming, at the original size 320x240 over that will requeire a lot more machine ressources !
