TJ ur always giving out cookies. lol... The music and introduction is amazing.. Just one problem... I'm viewing it in the dark so now I'm expecting the Punisher to bash through my door and kill no wait... punish me to death and leave with lots of evil stuff lying around...

anyway... good intro... but i kinda assk myself, have you even considered that on 500 visitors there is still half that number that is still on phone lines ?

i say that because your site is too high tech for my needs, takes 2 minutes to load your web page after seeing the intro, not to mention the intro itself which takes time !

at first it was ok, but now it starting to get too high tech for simple phone users !

d'you know whats causing the loading to take so slow?

well, graphics are mainly th eproblem here, since you use so many graphics, it takes a lot of times to load them up for a phone user !
example:
an images that is 100k big, is an hell on earth for a user that can load nothing more then 5.6k per seconds ! this means 20 seconds to load the image ! now add to that number of seconds all the other images on your web site !

by today's standard if a phone user has to wait over 1 minute, the person gets discouraged and will abandon seeing your site or will bitch about it !
so basically the loading time should be over that 1 minute limit !

i don't mind that limit as long as it doesn't take me 5 minutes to load. the only web pages i agree for that are FLASH GAMES or MOVIES web sites entirely made in flash !

so basically you gotta watch out for images, they are the ones messing up things !
but it depends, JAVA SCRIPTS can be an hell as well.
Sounds and musics add to the loading times as well !

ya just gotta understand that the loading time refers to the time it takes to download the things to your machine. once you know that, you notice how a web page that has a lot of things on it, has to load before being showed or played, so basically everything on a web page add times to the loading times !

TEXTs isn't big so it takes next to 0 seconds to load, except if you got a lot of it and by a lot i really mean a lot !

anyway, on your web site i would guess that you made too many MULTIMEDIA uses on it.

i know the music is good and add a feeling on your web page, but is it really necessary ?
if yes, how can you reduce its size ?
is your images a good format. if yes again how can you reduce their sizes ?
if no, can you change their types to get better performances ?

see, that's the questions you gotta ask yourself !
anyway... like i said, it depends, if you consider the world to be on cable and expect the users on your web site to be mostly high speed users, then you're ok with it now ! but otherwise, you'll have to reduce loading time by reducing the size of the files we got to load !

yes, i know...images are one FACTOR thats causing the loading to take so slowbUT the thing is...eversince i started creating my geocities INDEX and even WITHOUT these images, it still takes to load so slow!

i mean even before without these images, my site loads so slow...so it doesnt make any difference (on my part) whether it has images or not...BUT what i really dont understand, there are sites (liek marve| or dc) some other fansites who has gazillions of images and effects but it doesnt take that long!

i know theres a problem, images are one thing but ON MY PART theres something else...can you tell me? ???

hmm how about making 2 sites in one? . one with non multimedia and another with all those graphics....
almost like when you go to a site, ull see 2 buttons, one is Flash and another one is html.
