It symbolizes doing something active(not including walking)

How do I put this. Since TMyApp closed the topic I couldn't reply there... FOR THE PAST 3 WEEKS I HAVE IT HAS BECOME MORE DIFFICULT FOR ME TO DO A SUPER MOVE!

How dashing was implement in the VS. game

From XmvSF to MvC.

Dashing could be done by tapping forward or backward twice quickly.

Or dashing could be done by pressing all 3 punch buttons.

Super jump can be done by pressing all 3 kick buttons.

Let's go into supers.

Super could be done with the proper direction movemnts plus a minimum of pressing 2 buttons...

eIther jab-fierce jab-medium medium-fierce (all the 2 button combinations) And this includes kicks !

They are a few supers that don't require this condition one of famous ones.. The raging demon ! jab, short, forward, fierce.

Or Dans Super taunt ! double quater forward + Start !

So far what i don't get from the arguements is like.
"I need 3 punchs to do a berzerker barrage super"

This should not be.. You only would only need two punchs.

For tym: Maybe there something wrong in the way the commands are recogonised in high lag conditions ?
Or could the normal frame to super move frame be bugged and not working right in certain conditions ?

Maybe I should try out the game my self again !

BRB..
with some news

hmmmmm... i can't find anything really wrong with dashing...

However, on one slight note i have always had some probs with doing supers... It could be am doing the commands too fast or slow... Or the game dosen't regonised what I am doing...

You are right. I do dashing by pressing forward twice, quickly. So down + foward just makes bringing out a Berseker Barrage X so much harder.

doing moves is "different" than the arcade in this game... the timing is different, and doing the moves differs on each computer (p200 compared to p500 for example)

all you can do is log MORE time in the practice mode so that you can "get used" to it for YOUR computer...

i can tell you right now that i (and a number of people i know) can do the hyper moves 100% every single time...

yeah, but in practice mode, frames arent skipping like crazy cause its not lagging like a bitch, therefore it has little effects of help in real games.

no no no no no

the game runs at ONE frame rate (you can type "/fps" in console while in practice mode or the real game to find out what u'rs is)

it doesn't matter what the lag is and how many frames are "skipped" due to the game attempting to compensate for the lag, YOUR game will always run at the same fps no matter what the lag is... (thus, however the game captures your keys in practice will be the same as the real game, minus the extra strain on the cpu for the network code)

THAT is what governs how the game recognizes u'r keyboard strokes...(the game checks the keyboard about every 3rd frame or so)

but, the "timing" of the commands (such as the pause between each keystrokes) is governed by the system clock and has nothing to do whith how fast/slow u'r computer is (since it's always around 1/10th of a second)

.. just a bit of a pointless info for ya'all

Did know that the arcade version of the has error correction mode for commands ?

I belive Capcom did some trails and testing to find out the most common mistakes done by gamers when doing commands.

For eg. Fireballs the command is down, downforward, forward + P

They made so that if you entered

Down,downforward, P, forward

It would still recognise it was a fireball command.

The odd part of this game is I can do fireballs easily but not supers. Maybe do to the keyboard restrictions its receiving the commands wrongly...

A dash really should block if it is backwards going.

TMyApp

shinvector: this game does the same, if you do a "back, forward, down, left, down, fowrward, P, back" .. you will still do a fireball

the big problem is that Shockwave sux when it comes to registering more than one key being pressed at the same time...

because of this, for the longest time i have been tellin people to press all 3 punch buttons for the supers, NOT because you need to, but because its easier (since u'll have better odds to have the game register 2 of those 3 keys)...

AHHHHH !! now you finally know what the heck has been causing the my supers to fail....

Doh....

You know TMy you should put that in your FAQ..

simply

Q: Why do I find it so hard to do super.. I only get specials most of the time ?

A: Shockwave sucks !

That would be enough..

Bwt... Did you know that pressing more then 3 buttons could be a problem also ?

Because on some systems.. like mine... It is unable to accept more then 3 buttons pressed at a time... so i have to compansate my pressing my keys in perfect sequence, if not next key won't register...

It would suck like #### if i wanted to play a charging player like gulie... can't charge crouch and block at the same time...

TMy Do you know if there is registry key in windows or something that controls how many buttons could be pressed at a time ? It would greatly help if i could up it to 6 or more !

thanks
