The version is taking more time too load...I guess thats not a bug...maybe its my connection ???

if its the web version thats giving you problems... try the downloadable one... or, the other way around...

if you can't login... give it an hour than try again... if that still doesn't work, create a new account with the same login.. and if THAT doesn't work... email xvssf@cyberfuturism.com

slower loading ?? MAYBE a problem (but @ leeast its loading again ... eh ??) :biggrin:

also, if some of you are having problems with the downloadable ver.. just make SURE you get ALL the files from the download page (click on every link) and make sure they are all in the same dir.... also, if you are running a firewall (Norton, ZoneAlarm) check if the game has permissions to access the internet and u should be fine...

when i try to log in or create a new login name, when it tryies to authenticate it tells me that i can't connect with the server is it because of my router or my firewall.This happens with d/l version only

ok so i downloaded everything and put them in the same directory , but whenever i try to open XvsSF.exe i get this message:
"Movie HTAP cannot be loaded. The file version is too new"

then it says:
"unable to load XvsSF.exe"

any suggestions?

well looks like my fps have been crippled with the downloadable version....i went from 30-35fps to 15-25 fps ??? i remember when i was one of the few to get 40fps in the old days....so i'll be happy once you bring back the old school :D

The reason i the d/l version wouldnt work was because i still needed to download flash player. But now i cant log in. The screen would just stay on "attemting to authenticate".

Yeah i have a problem, and it seems like i'm the only one with it...well anyways, when i pick a character (anywhere practice or game) i can move around and choose one, but when i hit a key to select the character, ..the game freezes and theres nobody on the screen and in the background is a big pic of ryu, even if i didnt pick him...so i'm stuck

Nferno666: if anything, the d/l version should be FASTER than the shockwave/web ver.. but.. if its not, just.. use the web one then :biggrin:

marvel911: u'r missing some/all of the .cct files (if u'r getting that "freezing" problem with the Downloadable version of the game)... if the problem happens with the online/web version, make SURE to say "yes" to all of the pop-up boxes (if you get any) to grant the shockwave movie full access to all of the servers... also, clear u'r cache, and make SURE the browser security settings allow shockwave to access the web.. etc (FAQ has some info on this)... if the downloadable version doesn't work, try the web... if web causes problems... get the d/l version....

rest of u: if you have something like Norton Personal Firewall .. or Zone Alarm installed, you need to make sure XvsSF.exe is given access in those programs...

My problem is that when I play on the downloadable version after I join a game or when I go to one on one with somebody or practice it goes all black and nothing happens.

Edit: Sorry Tmy. The problem is fixed. I forgot to download the sound.cct.

hey, i was just playing and i was chun-li and i only got hit a few times with no supers and when my partner tagged me it said danger and then my whole life bar went down and i died.
also, i got hit while i was in the air by a guile's yellow things. they didnt even reach me. is this like a glitch or something? ???

I am not behind a firewall so thats not the problem.

Im pretty sure that a firewall is used for extra security. If you are behind one then its harder for hackers to hack you.

rare indeed, but the fact of the matter is that it can happen to anyone, dont ask cuz i dont know why, but its better to be prepared for such a thing.

A problem with the d/lable version: it has a problem authenticating names. there should be also a name file thats just a database of names that the game can look to (of course this file should be updated every time there is a new member). Just an idea for a solution to a problem. This or that its just my computer.

if u use any super (except onslaught's electric charge i think) against the cpu wolverine and he is blocking, he will always heal

well.. if the game doesn't load all the way, thats YOUR browser problem (clear cache, reinstall shockwave, etc etc etc... read the FAQ for other info)...

now.. the donwloadable version... (seems like its not letting 10% of the people login for some damn reason...)

so.. to track down the bug/problem.. this is what i want everyone who can't login with the .exe do:

i downloaded the game and all the files and when i chose ryu,(practice game) the game stopped.. only the game hanged up. ???

edit: i think i figured it out. maybe the practice game doesn't work but only the real game. :D

I'm not sure if this is a lag thing...I'm not too sure.

Anyways, whenever I use Berserker Barrage X, and I have the person in the corner, and I'm pretty close to them (less than half a screen away), they'll sunddenly disappear from that corner, and reappear in the other corner.

This happens everytime. I told someone about the glitch once after a game, and he told me that he just super jumped outta the way.

However, this ONLY happens when I do BB X, but it happens EVERY time. Normal BB, and any other move does not make this happen. Also, it's not like I can see them jump outta the screen, and see them land in the other corner. They'll just suddenly disappear, and instantly reappear and the other corner.

Also, if they can super jump out of BBX, why don't they ever to do that for any of my other moves. Can anyone help me out?
