the "Use your own avatar thing" isn't working. @.@ Is it just me? (*sobs* I want to use my avatar) o.o;

simple...

1 - upload it to a web server
2 - type in the EXACT address of the server
example: http://www.multimania.com/ssjkarma/avatar.gif (http://www.multimania.com/ssjkarma/avatar,gif)
3 - remember that your avatar has to be in gif or jpg other than that will simply not work since they are not internet image.

as simple as that !

it works 4 me but the Gif looks to small so i didn't use my own

oh and make sure that you have the "{img}"before your url and the "{/img}" at the end of your url
and make sure you change the "{}" to "[]"

lol... Thanks ssj Karma. The problem was that geocities decided to not allow any remote downloading(wish they'd told me..), so the avatar from there wouldn't work. Now it works. Kks, you used the instructions for signature pics, didn't you? ^.^;
