Well scientist have cloned the first ever house cat...a mirror image of it's predecessor.
{Heres The Story} (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/1820749.stm)
Are you for, or against cloning?
either way... kittens are still realy cute. :D

stupid ass scientists!! :angryfire: :angryfire: i am against cloning!! :angryfire: if they start cloning people its gon bite us in the ass someday... they can become different from the original version of the person ... and decide to go out and start killin people and $h!t.
i have a lot too say about this issue but im not going further into this i will just say cloning is bad!!!!

KILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL SCIENTITSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
why would you clone a cat or other animal anyways. actually, cloning cows could be a good idea... something about world hunger could be done
Why the fu.ck would these damn scientists clone animals. I heard I think along time ago that they'll clone sheeps, pigs, and other animals. (Beware if you eat one of them animals you'll never know when it might multiply in your own stomach) Its not fair to these animals and us... DAMN SCIENTISTS!!

Kill scientists? That was a stupid remark. I wonder how we ever got these things called computers, did they just appear out of nowhere?
Multiplying in your stomach? HAHAHAHA! You guys are too funny. What keeps plants from growing in your stomach if you eat them? You have BACTERIA that breaks the things down. I didn't read the story, but cloning still requires the growth of the organism. Cloning humans? Think of it this way... wouldn't you want to have sex when you get older?
And not fair to the animals? Which ones are you speaking of, the clones or the cloned?
Oh yeah, I'm against cloning

its sick...
Have you even heard on the news lately about types of meat that can contain a certain CLONIN in your digestin system? If you don't believe me one day when one you ppl eat meat (Im not sayin all meat have clonin bacteria) but if one of these animals that are killed, and have been cloned and you didn't know about it you'll see what will happend. I don't know if that'll happen anytime sooner. I am against clonin, but killin scientists? Its not really a good idea. Who do you think made electrical materials... ? ???

i'm not really against cloning. but i'm not really for it either. but you've gotta admit, cloning is a huge break through in science. soon the could even clone you =/

Thats what I'm afaraid of
Cloning could get out of had and the next thing you see is them bringing back to life t-rex's, sabretooths, serial killers you name it It could get of hand.. ???
(actually they are already trying to bring back the sabrethooth tiger which I won't mind seeing in person but thats just me =/ )
I'm still against it though.. ???

when will scientist learn to stop playing god with living things and food? first cloning, then the AI teachnology. soon this planet gonna have wars with clones fighting machines while we humans are out in space.
i dont wanna see a disformed cat being eaten by a apple tree with tenticles.

Hmm...sounds sort of like The Terminator saga.
Although there really is no point in cloning a whole person. Maybe taking dna samples and growing organs on a host would be a smarter thing to do, and maybe donating organs or finding the right one for the person in need might not be a problem.

well cloning could help like when you need a heart transplant...but then the clone would die.
*sigh*i really wouldnt like the idea of dieing for myself :(

Why would the clone die in that case? He/she wouldn't, unless something went wrong..

I think cloning is dumb....because your trying to recreate someone/something..or whatever else these self proclaimed "Gods" do...but you cant get the same person unless you make the same exact life that person had, any changes and they are a different person

if the clone gave you his/her heart then they wouldnt have a heart and i dont think you can live without one of those :(

nah they're working on a way to clone only organs so that if U need a kidney transplant, they'll clone a kidney from ya body and U won,t need to take the medicine to prevent rejection or whatever.........
Blossom, don,t worry, they won't clone someone to after take his organs

well fuc|< that!
cloning is immoral
were gonna lose our individuality which makes us unique from one another
its like bypassing God's authority
its enough i have an evil clone here in this game... :plain:

cloning is just like any other tool. it is neither good or bad it all depends on how it's used

Simply against clone. It's just not right.
I'll be honest. I'm really not against cloning. To be against something like that, is like being against having birth. It's just not right. I mean, the clone does not HAVE to be exactly the same as you are. It will eventually gain a different personality, gain knowledge, different proffession, and it could even look different. The only thing that could be exactly the same, is the clones DNA, and possibly some looks.
I'm not really for or against it . . . but I'm leaning towards against.
It is a huge and spectacular break-through in science, but think . . . if a person is cloned, will they have a soul? If a loved one dies, but you clone them, it still won't be them. They'll be in Heaven or Hell while you're trying to love some soulless creature.
I'm against people trying to play God. A clone would be horrible because it won't have the very essence of life in it. Sure, it'll have a have a brain and heart, but no LIFE or spirit.

there is no problem with cloning if ppl would use it for the benefit of mankind like cloning a new organ (kidney, heart, liver) to save life if no one can donate
what if...some irresponsible scientist starts cloning human brains? its like duplicating ppl thus losing one's individuality
like it or not, approval for cloning is like opening the gates of scientific madness...
just take for example GUNS, guns are more of a threat than help
cloning is immoral...

well... for the ones who are for cloning because its for a good cause... think that the human brain makes em think about DEFENSE first... so its evident that even if its start out as a MEDICINE, it will eventually be used for other purpose that are more worst then medicine !
good examples of all those GREAT INVENTIONS that were suppose to be used in a GOOD WAY, but ended up being used for destruction and mass killing !
the ATOMIC FUSION... was suppose to be used as a new POWER SOURCE for electricity and things like that could benefit all of us, but ened up being a giant bomb that can kill a lot of people in a simple second !
Tri Nitro TNOLUEN (AKA T.N.T)... it was invented for the trains constrution sites which was suppose to be used as a hard way of destroying giant ropcks that couldn't be destroyed by shovels or things in the mountains ! it was used to build train tunnels in thru the mountains...
but we all know that TNT is also used to kill people now !
see... its in the human nature, if you give him one things, even for good reasons... he'll eventually transform it into a bad thing !
imagine someone, being able to clone SADDAM, wouldn't it be bad to have to do that war over and over again because some stupid thinks saddam will eventually win against USA if he never die ?
worst, what if someone decides to bring back some MAJOR SERIAL KILLER just for the heck of seeing him alive !
everything can happens... i know its gonna have a good way, but all scientific things have always had a second side that was actually hidden from us !
the fact they say it will be for saving people's life, its just another way of making you accept something that we all know will be for all purpose except that one !
even if they say the truth (not doubting about it at all) we all know that the other side of the medal shows us a lot more way to use that for other uses that wouldn't benefit at all !
so i say, let the human do what he has to do, if he kills himself in the process, he'll be then, the first guy to admit he was wrong ! don't they say that we learn from our mistakes. the world will end someday that's for sure, but its the humansd who will decide when and how it will be destroyed !
i am against CLONING that's for sure, but a lot things can be great abour it too, so i say, let em do what they have to do and hope for the best of it ! i will just end this with the traditionnal phrase... just don't put your hopes to high !
