I play Im lvl 61 and still waiting for that 3D update.

I played that for a while... and it sucks. Nothing is 3d except the setting? Wtf? 2d characters in a 3d setting? I remember better graphics a decade ago on my "Power Mac".

Have you even watched what the top ranked dudes do? I mean, god... I saw someone melting ores for fliping 5hrs strait (I melted my own over a couple of 1 hr intervals during the day). How the hell is that fun?? Slowest game... ever. Anyone who is high ranked in that game is probably below the age of getting a job or else does nothing but Runescape day in and night in.

it took everyone abut 2 years to get to 100 cause dude thats like 1 billion exp....
there are barely 200 people that are 100 and 100+

u barely get 10k exp a day..even ifuplay 1 hr..
i started rs like 7 months ago i made 32 mills by mining coal and selling em:) pretty rich eh..then i started training..now i am a lvl 110...which i believe i got 99 str..can own anyone...I am top 10 in the list w00t :0 so please next time dont lie like that..hurts me ..lol cause i worked my ass off

2000warrior: there is one thing you and some others have to understand.

there are quest in there and many are made while you are on a team, meaning two or more players needed to finish the quest ! and this game is at the caliber of EVERQUEST or ULTIMA ONLINE which are the same type as this one and are played by over millions people around the globe.

so yeah, if you see someone mining for hours and or doing the same thing over and over for hours, then yes they are retards. but i hate people who doesn't see the real power of a game by just playing it a few minutes !

i played that game, i found it very stupid, but then i started learning about what i could do, yes many things in there are stupid and none sens, the exp thing is one of those ! but there are lots of great thing in there that deserves some credits !

and for people who don't know this yet, there is way more if you pay the account per months ! cause what is free, is like only 1/3 of the whole game !

now, excuse me if you don't like my POV, but deal with it.
RUNESCAPE rules, as much as UO or EQ, but there is too much people playing for poop in those games that they can't even see what the real game is all about !

and dude, PK is stupid, have you even tryed to defeat that dragon or that demon that kills players under level 75 so easily ? i think not, he's many more of a challenge then those PLAYERS !

also, i must agree, the fighting system is too basic they need something better.

anyway, played runescape, MMORPG doesn't attract me anymore !

I played quite a lot longer than a few minutes... and I got borred in a couple months. Bottem line is, when all is said and done, crappy graphics and a horrid economy, as well as millions of ****s running around, annoying archers and magicians who won't fight their own damn enemies, "kids" who insult you for no reason, jackasses who sell their poop for ridiculous prices (and throught the economy of that game way the hell off), retarted quests (Romeo and Juliet?, gathering balls of wool?, getting pieces of a damn shield? pfft... sounds like they put no more than 20 seconds into thinking of each of them), an unbelievably slow paced game play and feeling that you're not really "doing" anything, and probably another page or so of these, are why I hate that game.

Members have newer quest and if the archers and ppl are bothering you run from the fight so they can fight them and do magic on them if you get last hit you get the exp.

I've been playing for like 3 years and i'm only 69...

2kwarrior: i cannot agree more with you... but there are quest there that doesn'T concern such stupitities as gathering balls of wools ! there are quest to take care of a dreaded monsters, others to tace care of the evil wizards in a tower and the likes !

but what do you expect from a game that is compeltely free ?
its like ULTIMA ONLINE, its great in itself, lots of ****s, but lots of quest a real world, but ya gotta pay for it ! same here, so again, do you really expected them to give you every good thing in the game just because you want it ? the free part of the game gives you like 1/3 of the real quests, 1/3 of all the weapons and 1/3 of the levels !

yes machine, if you're registered there you can get higher levels !
anyway 2k see what i am telling you, the game is great, but like all other games, you cannot expect much of a completely free game. if you want that game to be better you gotta pay the monthly registration cost !

and 2k, don't say i don't know what i'm talking about, i too got bored of it after a month ! but it sure doesn't deserves to be kicked like that ! its a great game in itself well thought and well made, but if ya want better ya gotta register and itas that way for all the internet games i know up to now, including the old XMvsSF on project X !

I too play the game, but recently ive been getting very bored with it. I was all into the "Smithing and Mining" parts of the game....a very very boring thing to do. Im lvl 64 smithing and lvl 71 mining...altogether my character is level 69...over 750 points. I think im gonna take a break..prolly until Runescape2 comes out (3d version).

Im with SSJKarma on this one. I mean, its not a bad game. It is free and there are many things you can do. I must say, if your not a member you do get the shaft but still...there is alot of stuff that is offered to free players...Over 15 skills that you can learn...over 20 quests and awesome weapons.

I read some of the posts and one caught my eye the most..which was 2000warrior's post. I remember you saying something like "those quests were prolly thrown together in 20 minutes." Well most of the quests prolly were cuz they aren't original such as the Romio and Juliet one. You have to remember though that there are also other great original quests that are kinda fun such as the Dragon Slayer one.

Most people dont realize that games like that aren't thrown together in a day. Im taking classes in my Tech Prep course over Gaming. It's harder then you think. The first day i seen all the coding i was blown away...so now i only test BETA games =/. These games take HOURS upon Hours to create..so give them a chance..dont play for 10 minutes and give up. Trust me Runescape gets better as you play. The higher your skill levels are the more you can do.

I would rate Runescape about a 9. Just GIVE it a chance!!!

That is so true lord if you are a game tester you have to play games for good hours, you cant just start a game and play 5 min of it and say it sucks. I know people who didnt even get threw the tutriol island. And when I first got on that was not even there, so new players have a easier start to the game then we did walking around trying to figure out this and that.

all those games are not good check this game out and you dont have to be a dbz fan to play it its still fun and twice as fun for dbz fans it should be back up i played it before you can do kamehame ha and all that mind you its a MMORPG

I too wish i had the tutorial too work from. I recently found out about the "tutorial" when i decided to make a pker...which is a bad idea due to the fact of Runescape II. When i first started i had to start from scratch and learn all the basics...which wasnt fun at all..so people come one. Give the game a chance!
