Well I bought a laptop and the touchpad isn't working properly. I mean when I move it around the cursor moves, but it usually goes in the wrong direction, and sometimes darts up or down. Can anyone tell me what to do?

Let me make it simple. Never use touchpad, they sux badly. That y I don't use it on my labtop. Get ur mouse from ur other computer and connect it there. Or buy a new mouse. I don't think there a way to fix ur touchpad

Yes, but thats your brothers laptop...not yours.
His may work fine, while apparently you'rs does not. ;)
I havent seen a touchpad i've liked yet...go with a mouse.
..or return the laptop for a new one.
Or call the manufacture and complain, they'll hook ya up with the FYI.

im sure there are all sorts of options and setting and drivers out there for touchpads...but that's all stuff you'll have to discover on ya own.
Try checking out the manufactures website, im sure they got the answers your looking for...or at least have a number you can call for support or more info on the matter.

On my laptop there is an icon on the tool bar, if you click it you can access all the settings. I haven't had any problems with mine, you might want to try playing with the settings.
