Tutorial for getting on irc channel of xmvssf - Tut to chat with lefty and members !

:D K ....Lefty said we needed someone to write a tutorial on how to get on Mirc Channel of XMvsSF....so here it goes.......

First of all...if youdont have Mirc ...u can get it here : !!http://www.acool.net/_mirc/?filename=mirc603.exe
Next thing install it....which is an easy process....as u might have installed somethign else before......

Now after you open it...it'll ask u to register....u can do so later....so close the window....then go to

File > Connect........and u will be connected to EFnet....while connecting make sure you connect to Efnet !!!

Next when u have an option or a prompt ....or see a list of channels......u can join......type or add....

this : #xmvssf

click "Join" ....and u'll see many known names.....like Leftfb himself.....along with me.....DM......KKS....and Nosoul....this means u have succesfully entered the Channel.....and can start chatting now !!!

I try connecting to EFnet but it never connects...
same here... file, connect to the server, then go to command, join channel right? i can't get past the first part <!--emo&:angry:

they didn't so as soon as the server is back up ill fix it... scratch that i got it working...

Simple as this: Open the IRC program. You will get a blank screen depending on the kind of script your on.

1) type in /server irc.efnet.org <---this one works
2)type in /join xvssf or /j xvssf

Then your done. If you have a problem with a firewall just go into the IRC options, located on the upper left hand side and change it.

To make it easier to where you dont have to type in the channel's name, just put it on your ajoin...

/ajoin ..then a dialog box will appear with the name of each channel your in...then click add.

you can also join using trillian if anybody has that, it's a blend of the chat programs (msn, icq, aim and yim) but it also has irc on it as well.
