I am so new at this Street Fighter vs X men online thing.
I was a huge street fighter player on arcades in the early and mid 90s, and although we've had great advancement in graphics, there's nothing quite like a good 2D beat em up. I today got out my mega drive, and played SF2 Champion Edition, nothing like it.

And hoped to challenge other people online, not played X men vs SF, only once in Arcade years ago, but too packed out, but huge SF fan, it's a legend.

So after I download the game, what else do I need to play online?

Is there a server programme some of you guys have to download.?

what do you mean "what else do i have to play online?"
are you looking for other online games?

well if you downloaded the version of this game then all you have to do is create a screen name like most of us, wait for the server to authenticate your name then youre all set!!!

Cheers I did that.

I was wondering, is the game resolution the same size for everyone, I was hoping it might fill my monitor more?

And the use of keys, is there any updates, that enables you to use joypads like sidewinder for the game? I've never played Street Fighter with keyboard before.

On the FAQ of the main website page, of graphics and engine, it says support for:

game console

-joystick and gamepad support**

-top scores and rank tracking system

I assumed there's a patch to download.

mmmm...im not really familiar on the joystick stuff for this game since all of us use keys

believe me when i say to you...keys iare the most accurate!

i suggest you study the FAQ Unofficial Quickstart guide first before you make a suicidal gameplay

if you downloaded the game, make sure its all in the same folder, all characters and everything...read the instructions

if you have trouble playing the downloaded version, just play the web version :)

This (http://projectx.cyberfuturism.com) is the homepage of the game, as if you didn't already know. If you download it, download each file to the same directory (You might want to create a new folder specifcally for game files.) Or you could just load the game into your cache (Play it online). Then press ok at the loading screen, watch the movie (Optional) create an account using a SN, password, and your e-mail. Then for quicker gameplay go to Options/Sound-Turn off music, then go to Other-Turn off background (Make sure it's checked), go to options and see the game controls. Go to practice mode if you want, and try the game out. Then to fight people, press start, and select a server (Go to the first one) and if one's available, try the third, then the second. If you have any problems with this, just ask. You'll be in a chat room with other people, where you can.. talk, obviously. To fight someone, click on their name and press quick fight. A little box saying you have challenged them should appear on their screen, and they can accept or decline. It doesn't synchronize 100% of the time though, so don't count on it to work every time. Or you could let other people challenge you. You can also host a game, by pressing host game. Then you make a name for the game, or use the default one. After you have the name chosen you can set the game options (Timer on/off, helpers on/off, what level to start at, 1 on 1, 1 on 1 TAG, 2 on 2 TAG, 2 on 1 TAG) Other people join it, and you start the fight with the start button. You can also join people's games via the join button in the chat room. You have a rank, and the ranking system is explained in the top scores section, here (http://projectx.cyberfuturism.com/scores/rules/index.html). You can also choose what helper you want. It doesn't work most of the time when you are not hosting, and to do so you have to use certain key combinations during the player select screen, here (http://www.vgmfusion.com/~senshuk/home/moves/helpers.html). There's a whole more bunch of junk to know but.. ask if ya want anything..

Thanks for that, I have challenge someone.

There's only one thing I want to know, any way to use joypads for the game, like sidewinder, is there a patch for it or something.
