Frozen matchs

Is it just my comp , or does this happen to anyone else? Roughly 15% of all games i play end up freezing right after the completion of round1, round2 or round3. Proven to be a real thorn , as im screwed out of my deserved victory. While my opponent is in the belief that im deliberately cheating.

im not sure, but I think its either a bug, or a massive amount of lag.
but mine freezes in the middle of a match, but only for a few seconds.
It never freezes for the whole match

Mines froze the whole match plenty of times. After a few minutes the Dialog "Lost Snyc with other player" would pop up. :(

i could use some screenshots... and, maybe, a list of EVERYTHING that was happening few seconds (15+) b4 the game locked up.. (we're talking every dtail.. which characters were on screen, was this a rematch, 1on1? 2on2? .. timer on/off? .. etc etc etc)

i need to find a pattern b4 anthing can be done :(

My game freezes up a lot more than 15% (more like 45% of the time...). But ONLY in 1 on 1 matches, but not when we're fighting in the *special hosting place (for tag matches). It seems to get worse when I put slow connection mode on.... It seems to happen no matter who I've chosen, but I have only used Wolverine and Ryu recently...

This happens all the time to me (40% of the time), and not just in quick matches. It also happens when someone hosts a game and we fight 1 on 1. Basically it happens right when someone wins (I've won and lost, as player1 and player2, so it doesn't matter who). The winning Ryu will stand there in his victory pose with his arms crossed, round 2 (or 3) never comes. The message "speed adjusted" flashes repeatedly across the middle of the screen, but it never once says "sync lost" or anything like that. The screen will stay frozen like that until someone leaves. The ironic thing is, when you finally do decide to leave, the next round will start briefly as soon as you click on exit (for about 5 seconds), but now it's too late, and you are back at the main menu moments later.

Btw, this has happened to me in quick matches, 1 on 1 (no tag), and rematches.

alright, first off... you people need to unerstand the idea of "freezing"... because i get emails of people reporting other problems as "freezing".. which makes it VERY difficult to fix anything...

anyway, IF in the middle of the game, your character just stands there... you are unable to move him, and the words "sync lost, waiting for other player" come up... your game DID NOT FREEZE... the SYNC was lost... this problem CANNOT be fixed since it is not really a problem.. more of a "communication breakdown" between the players (this could mean many things.. for one, the other person's browser crashed, the other person CLOSED his browser, or one of you got disconnected from the internet)

when you win/lose the game/round... and your player just stands there.. your game DID NOT freeze, simply, the ROUND did not end (so, just post that you have a problem with "game rounds not ending")... is it a problem? yes... will it be fixed? yes... (sounds like most of these problems all have to do with 1 on 1 quick matches)

.. now, if the pictures of the game on the screen has stopped moving, and your keyboard/mouse commands do not work (you cannot move your player, you can't press the "menu" button... and NOTHING on the screen is animating/moving) .. then and ONLY then did your game freeze...

there you go... this should clear up a few things, and allow everyone to make better bug reports on the forum :biggrin:

This has happened to me a couple of times, & this is how I see it:

I'm in a quick game.
When the round finishes, I get the 'Ryu...WIN' (or whoever) graphics & voice, & Ryu stands in his victory pose with his head-tie flapping. (Animations continue, in other words.)
The chat box can be accessed, but none of my chat seems to arrive at my opponent's end.
The 'Sync lost' box does not pop up (at least for five minuites, that's as long as I waited).
The only thing I can do is return to the menu.

Is that detailed enough?
