can anybody tell me how to delete a virus permanently because everytime i delete it manually it keeps coming back...
The only thing's I can tell you is:
1.cleaning and deleting file's from your computer
2. Update your computer
3.if you have mcafee or norton or any of those you have to check it and delete the file with the virus and it may took hour's but it's work it.
4. Last thing you can do is go to a computer specialist and you can pay him to delete all viruses on your computer by using a disk and somtime's he can delete all unwanted file's so your computer will be fresh and new.

^Where do you get your information?
The only thing that would most likely work is #3 in what Vash said.

might be adware/spyware instead of a virus....try doing a scan with ad-aware SE 1.06 then after that cleans up your system try doing a virus scan in safe mode.

also try using spybot
what i always do for others and myself is finding the name of the virus, doing a backround check to find all components of it, and running a system search on your computor for those. once my mom got a virus on this computor by opening up a visual basic script that was attached with something. and it ran and copied it self and a made pictures appear about terrorism and made messages appear in spanish.
of course by opening the script with vb i could tell exactely what it did and clean it all up completely
not only that
Zonealarm gave me their proxy, which i have kept on a txt document somewhere for me to check on...

as a computer expert (not someone with an Uncle whos an expert), i can tell you this
Antivirus is good at preventing viruses. Once a virus gets in, antivirus may remove it, but the damage is already done. Spybot will NOT help, nor will removal of junk files.
Best bet? find any cds that came with yer computer and see if one of em contains windows XP, and reinstall the whole damn operating system. If you need help, i MAY be able to mail a disk that can do it for you, but I'll need proof that you own a legit copy of windows.

if all else fails break out the windows XP setup disk and delete the old partition.... and create a new partition from the raw data and intsall, creating a totally new windows XP. :)

Jeeze dude! How many programs you got!? I would recomend deleting the ones you dont visit mostly or copy pasting a few, that would make your pc run a bit faster, but it wont help anything with viruses.....Btw, mastergrim8, i dont like that thing in your signature! It knows all my computer stats, and what is IE 6?

oh the furry monster is not to be ignored but back to virus topic you can go on some sites that tell you how to manualy remove them forever

Wow..., thats quiet a virus you've got there. As viper mentioned Antivirus is quiet helpful when it comes to removing viruses once in your computer, always make sure you have it. You might want to "delete" the virus as soon as possible, because it might replicate and pass itself undetected to multiple files.
Try reformating your computer, or just simply reinstall the whole system..., with the provided disc that you bought along with your CPU.
If you don't have antivirus, i suggest you install it, ASAP and then commence the setup.

make back-ups?
~Mastermax~
07-14-2005, 06:42 PM
no do not make backups, that's the worst thing that you can do, only make backups if you know that it's not infect, and never backup zips, those can easily be faked with hidden files, and are usually infected by most modern viruses.

Well, I use norton and I set it to scan compressed files (zip files) and hidden files...I don't know who told you you have to reformat your whole computer...but that's a lie. I had a virus on my computer like 2 times and it tripled itself to other files and I just scanned my computer with the settings above and I was ok....I had to do it overnight...but that's better then reformatting...the only thing that sucks about norton is that you have to pay for telephone support...but you can get online support for free.

Well, I have 2005 Internet Security and you open Norton (duh) go to options at the top...click on Anti-Virus go to Manual Scan which sould be on the left and at the bottom where it says "Which type of files to scan" check compressed, comprehensive and active progams and start up progams which should check if you have any viruses in your boot record.
Sorry I took so long to answer...hope it helps.

Spyware and adware are viruses.
They are not viruses...but they could contain virus. Spyware is much worst then Adware. Spyware...spys on you. It could have a keylogger and "spy" on every little thing you type, such as password, and credit card numbers. Adware is something that is installed on you computers that make tons of ads pop up therefore slowing down your computer.
