I put it between the [IMG][\IMG] and it still doesn't work saying there is a bad extension..does anyone know what this means or what I am doing wrong? plz help!

I believe that wont work becuase your image is saved as a bmp. Save it as a gif or jpeg then upload it and that should work. if youdont know how to save it as jpeg or gif go to save as, then at the bottom drop down menu choose either Jpeg/gif.

I am unable to save it as a jpeg or gif, I just checked. Also when I was reading the pinned topic about the Image/avatar faq thingy by Kester- the bmp I believe was on there as a usuable save file..?? The-Infamous suggested it could be an account problem....??

Unable to save it as .gif or .jpeg? What program are you using, man? Just open up paint, open the image file, choose save as, and under the name box, go to the drop down menu and choose save as .gif or .jpeg. Remember to enter your image like this:
[code:1]enter image URL here [/code:1]

I did, and I am using paint bro. I was unable to save it as a jpeg or gif...I sent the image URL to The-Infamous and he was able to use it...I used the exact same one that worked for him...but it still came up as bad extension

Are u sure. Press Print Screen then go to paint then go to SAVE AS then where it says file type put it to gif then go to photobucket album then add it and where it says IMG under TAG press it once then copy it the paste it here...

Nice example...
Matsuzo: I really don't know what to tell you. All I can think of is don't put any spaces when you insert the URL into the IMG brackets.

Hmm, not too sure about this, but I think I've noticed the problem.
Contrast these 2 screenshots. I'm comparing one of my own screenshots, with the same exact one you've posted, matsuzo.

Notice that we both are using "Photobucket" as the hosting site.
1. One difference you may have noticed is that my screenshot appears more bigger once the url is clicked on for the new page to appear displaying it. Yours displays some type smaller, just a little bigger than the average avatar.
2. It seems that my screenshot's "Dimensions" ( width x height ) is greater than yours.
3. I took notice that your size in bytes of the screenshot is far by greater than mines. O.o
Now seeing that you also have the downloaded version of SFO, showing from that screenshot, my only question to you is:-
Did you also press "alt" + "Print Scrn" on your keyboard? If not, then the screenshot that is being taken, will get a snapshot of your entire screen.
Reminder: Holding down "alt" + "Prnt Scrn" on your keyboard will allow a snapshot of the "active" window you have currently on. This doesn't include your desktop.
If you are holding down alt, while pressing the "Print Screen" button, then I'm not sure whats going on.
But if what I said, you're already doing; and if your sure thats your entering the correct url into the IMG brackets, my only preception is that the forum isn't recognizing something in your signature.
@Stryder: You can request an avatar/banner at the Banners, and Avatars/Image sector of the forum.
