What happens when a player leaves a game? - It doesn't go do the countdown screen?

When I am playing someone in a game and they leave, it will sometimes say "Sync has been lost, waiting for other player..." after waiting for about 3-5 minutes it will say "player has left the game" but it wont award me with the win or go to the countdown screen. It forces me to leave the game and lose points. Now, beleive me when I say this, I am not a rank hungry person, and I always try to play people with lower ranks than I, but when I play that person fairly and justly I want the points that I worked hard to get. For example, it's like the 500th ranked player defeating the number 1 player and then having the number 1 player cower and leave. It's ofcourse unfair to the 500 ranked player who worked hard to defeat the number 1 guy, only to lose his own points because the game wouldnt go to the countdown screen. What do you when you are up against this problem?

no. 1: wrong section, post in new members help if you want help

no. 2: "sync lost waithing for other player" it means you lost the connection and you eventually lose

no. 3: "sync lost:you win in *countdown*" it means your opponent lost the connection

no. 4: its all about internet connectivity, you got bad connection then its all up to you to enhance your connection

if you see a sync lost wait 1 min and if it is still sync lost close the game it wont cost you points

yo....once it sed lost connection wen i wus fight evil x fighter
he was ranked 1 at dat time...i waited about 24 min.... i got of tired waiting 2 get his rank......i thought i had it 2 :angryfire:
