I have recently fought couple of quick games and have noticed that my opponent would stall then reappear in a different place.
this typicaly happened recently i did the enjuken on my opponent twice only to see his health had remained full. Which is rather puzzling also to see lag this was true when i got my friend which had high lag to fight each other. the same thing happened he would stall and then reappear in another place and also idid couple of specials on him but his health remained still and to note my health was going done normaly. why does this occur?

heh.. you are new to this game aren't you??

Well, that's how it is... Lag is the order of the day.. and you have to fashion your gaming skills and ur techniques and tactics to match the gameplay of SFO.

The best advice is to keep on attacking and attacking and fighting without relenting.. that way, a fraction ofur attacks would surely get to ur opponent. It takes a while (depending on variable factors like Internet connection speed and System performance) to send packets of data containing moves, movement and character agility from one computer to the other... and vice versa. During this 'sharing of data'... so to speak, some packets are lost.. and some are easily erased or countered due to the actions of the host... and that's why you'll always get lag in the game

You'll just have to fight it that way and make sure you refrain from waiting to see your opponents life bar go down before doing another attack.. you could be killed in the process  (I know.. that was a sarcastic grin.. ^_^)

However, there are ways you can reduce the amount of lag you gain while playing the game. Try reducing the amount of programmes you're running while playing the game.. like p2p sharing programmes.. Messager services like AIM or MSN.. and stuff like that. You should be able to fight freely without having to experience too much lag

Hope that helps.

from wut i have seen about lag, i don't know if this works for others, is that u only take damage if yousee it on ur screen, i've had weird occurances where people say that their super missed but on my screen i was getting killed, so i think thatu only get hurt from attacks that u see, another example is if youfight someone and they use RD and u stop it, then use ur own RD, neither will hit because their computor may have seen it hit and still think that it is hitting when ur comp sees ur RD hitting them, and u oppenents comp doesn't see that RD cu it still thinks that u can't move cuz of the first RD.

does that make sense?
