Are you behind a firewall or proxy??

1: go to "Options"
2: click "NETWORK"
3: and check the box that says, I'am behind a firewall or a proxy
4: also, check the box that says, old connection mode (for firewalls

Umm...
..also, where it says Local IP, try typing in AUTO... and you can try to disable that firewall..but i wouldn't because it stop those hackers, viruses, etc.

If you have a firewall like zone alert, or nortan, make sure you check the right settings that allow you to join to the Sfo server.. It should ask you what to you want to allow or w/e.. because I have zone-alert (firewall) and they ask me if I want to allow such and such..

This is probably because you are behind a firewall or a proxy server. Either see if you (or your network administrator) can free up port 1626 in your company, or try checking the "I am behind a firewall or a proxy" checkbox in the options menu (in the "network" section). If you do that, attempt to connect to EACH of the servers, to see if one of them is the right for you.

That probably can help you out thats what kester was telling you to go to i think.

nah forget those Faqs: do this if yu got an xp and the firewall protection> go freedom security and privacy then click on something there. If yu dont have tha then get freedom firewall

not everyone has that firewall...

and it wouldn't be a good idea to get another firewall
