Dam computer player - Gets too close to attack

when i play story mode the computer comes up right beside me and i cant attck it and on the other hand it can attack me this really annoys me and i was wondering if there was something i could do??? please help

^Yup, it also seems like he needs some practice. Press the start button which is 1 as the default button. Doing this would let you gain three levels, and the AI wouldn't move.


Note: This only works for the first stage.

I never noticed that happen...I mean if you do more than kick and punch it shouldnt be that hard to not get close
