Match stops after 1st round - I need help.

Well, here is my problem... When I beat my opponent the 1st round of the game it just freezes... After it says "KO" on the screen all my character does (Ryu) is just stand there doing his winning pose...

This has never happened to me before, but I think it is because of the fact that my motherboard in my computer has been changed... Which means everything that was in before, has been changed...

Since then I've been having this problem in all my matches... Can someone tell me what I should do to stop this problem?

err... So how did you stop it from occuring again? After I beat my opponent that 1 round the game just stops... My ryu just stands there doing his pose while my opponent is wondering whats going on, why isn't the game going to the second round...

Also, I can't hear in my speakers the characters when they do a move such as a special, I am only able to hear the music... err someone help?

maybe it's because of the certain motherboard you switched in your comp...

Your opponent probably left after the first round and it never registered.

no it can't be, he said it keeps happening to him...(noone would keep leaving in all of his matches)

Then I would recommend downloading the SFO files again.

Still not working... I use the web version of the game. Also, I hear no sound. If I was to press something like the "Start" button, I wouldn't hear the sound it makes.

ah yes, this had happend to me a LONG TIME ago...
my ryu just stood there for ever. i know it was my modem, some how, COX turn the modem off in their head quater, and i had to buy a new modem from them... which works 100%, thats when it stop doing that ryu bug...
check ur modem/internet.

i doubt that the mother board is causing this.. i never had any friends who had problem with it, or know someone who ever has.. i think its ur modem/internet. you gotta know how to set up ur mother board right, if ya didnt that could of affect some of your computer files such as the internet..

Well that happened to me but it stopped when i created a new user account on my pc so maybe that's the problem so if you try the modem thing that res recomended and that doesn't work create a new user account in the control panel and play from that account

you cant created an account in control panel...
and no its not the username, i doubt it is.. cause if it was, this would be happening to us by now...and like i said before, this has happend to me before, its not the username but the internet itself!
