I kinda have 2 questions. Why can i only some times connect to people and other time can't, yesterday i was able to connect to the Global Server and today not, is this because they take the server offline or somethin else.
My other question is, is it possible to connect to a different account but on the same computer? Just so i can practice.

Facts about servers:

Dawn of Rage server - This server is full most of the time, when a server is full.. you can't join it. This server is also frequently laggy.

SFO backup server - Well, in my opinion, this is one of the best servers on SFO right now. It's rarely full.

SFO tournament server - This server is not so laggy, it's a good server to go to if you want a good fight.. with hardly NO lag..

About you "practicing":

Well, just go to "story mode" (located on the main menu on SFO).. and.. while you're fighting -- press your start button, which is 1 as the default start button. When you do this your opponent/AI (artificial intelligence/computer) will stop, and you'll have three levels.

Sometimes servers are off and sometimes they're on.. mostly when servers are down they come back online about the next 10-15 minutes.. unless if they are serious server problems, then you'll see a notice somewhere about the problem.

You don't have to post everytime you can't connect to the server(s), just ask a friend if the server(s) working for them

you can fight yourself....it's against the rules so dont do it

if you have 2 pc then you can...different accounts though...not the same one...

Yeah I would try fighting myself, but I have a router, so I cant challenge myself.

Ever wonder why some ppl are like 1000 - 2 in their win/loss record just before the archives are created??

Take a deep breath and think about it... yeah, that's right

Anyway, the whole "self vs self" mode of play is a very bad idea. Most take it to a whole new level.. (a very unhealthy one if you ask me  ) and it becomes sorta hazadous to the community... yeah, you hearrrd me.

And that's why it's not a good idea to fight urself for the sake of practice. You can as well, fight the first round of the story mode, where pressing the start button freezes the AI, and you do whatever strategy you're cooking up in ur brain

Anyway, topic closed.. no point debating in the new members help section on something that's not adviseable
