No more 56k

Can we pls get rid of 56k modems on the game its getting tiresome i dont often say a lot on here but its getting irritating when ppl say ur cheating and uve got a nice 40.0000fps and theve got a crummy 19.0000fps is there anyway to add an option so that if youdonjt want it 56k pings can not quickgame you

ps all u 56k modem users reading this that have screamed cheat at a man with a 512k connection hang ur heads in shame and walk away :angryfire:

TmyApp loves this game and will surely not let go of 56k users which will probably make this game go down to less ppl..

tell me honestly do u think we want to play a game or shadowboxing cuz thats what its like playing against a 56k modem lol it becomes more hit everything than hit a target, where in the 21st century asdl dsl there all so cheap and theres more dsl and cable players on here than 3 years ago now 56k are a minority

well the word cheap is a good one compared to a few years ago cable is dirt cheap and really if ppl cant afford cable then they best put there ibm 486 sx computers away as well plus whats the point of having a decent game if youcant play it at the right speed anyway maybe even a server just for 56ks and 1 for faster lines might be an idea :buttrock:

Getting rid of 56k users will be bad idea,since thiers alot of 56k users how play this game and loves this game as much as we do.

Just because they have a 56k connection *or lower* doesnt make them cheap.

You probally lose alot of packets when fighting someone with a 56k cable and probally the only move(s) that gets sent are projectiles and supers.Meanwhile in thier screen thier doing different moves.

@Ultimate:You've ever thought that they dont have dsl/cable+ connection where they live??Or even a good comp with good specs,just think about it =/...

Well why not have a server for 56k users and then at least ppl with a decent line can play decent games and im fed up off 56ks claiming they have adsl or cable so they can play in a tag and then the tag game lags right out u cant call that a game its more of just a mess noone can aim and noone nos whos really where, at least if they had there own server they could only lag each other and most games have a 56k server for the old timers that like dark age speed but for ppl that pay for the extra bandwidth shouldnt be lagged up by the slower users, im not saying get rid of them im saying give them a server to play on so we can actually play a decent game fore once without lag , and as for not having cable or adsl in your area any normal telephone line can be converted to adsl so maybe u should just pay the extra 10 in cash and learn that theres a whole world out there ur just to slow to see it, :D

This is bogus.. sorry to say. So what.. you don't want 56k users playing the game?? You're just picking on those who use 56k moderms and it's not very nice. So what.. if someone doesn't want to use a dsl/cable connection. I believe it's their own choice... and not to criticize them.
After all, in a game like this, you're the one getting the advantage cause ofur speed... however, when a 56k user tells you that you're cheating (out of ignorance) it's ur job to enlighten him on his foolishness instead of claiming that all 56k users should be cast out and put in a separate server so that they can lag themselves out.

If you're a good player.. ie anyone, you should be able to defeat anyone without complaints about his connection speed. I mean.. I play on 2 different connections.. and when I mean different, I mean T3 and Dial up and I know the difference. However my gameplay is still the same. The only time I suffer is when I use the dial up moderm to play in tag matches I'm not hosting.. then everything happens to quickly. At that time I have no one to blame but myself for joining in the brawl.. so anyone who calls you a cheat, well, look upon his ignorane and laugh.. instead of coming to the forum and pitching all 56k users as being short handed. :biggrin:

And DJ Eric.. trust me, there's no need for a new server.. or servers that bar some users for joining because of their ping or connection type :biggrin:

In conclusion, I don't think there's any need for a new server or what not for 56k users.. Let everyone enjoy the game the way it is.

Here's the trick you have to adjust your options to he other users.

Like lets say I have some insanily Fast PC. I'd just merely turn on all the options that would slow down my PC.

Snyc, Adjust,Music,Havng Background on....mehh

If I have a slow computer in whih I do...56K whatever...

I simply go to options...turn off all those extra options....play the game at it's minium bases.

And mini my screen.

I'm sure that will create a better connection.... :eh:

lol kido i got 56k and not even with ur dsl,cable will even beat me. I got 56k my FPS goes up to 50.0000 sometimes between 35.4444-50.0000 depend how many program i got open. The more program i open the fps lower down. So if youwant to test a 56 my name is `EvilAkuma` just holla me for a fight andi beat ur speed internet and my FPS will be around 35-38

####........ 56k owns this game due to lag. I played at my mates he had a 56k i wasnt even hosting i was just joining games and i was only using ryu and i got 28 wins in a row joining all the games best players and lost 1 match... a good 56k user is insanely hard 2 beat.

man everyone think i'm lieing, I got a XP, I had tons of program on my CPU, My fps use to be 15.6664 till i reinstall everyprogram. Every since then my computer got faster and loading tons of stuff pluz i remember when kazaa use to make my site page so slow, i had to delete it

This has topic has been covered many times..and it's not gonna happen.
The game was made for us poor saps that cant afford the finer pleasures in life..like highspeed ISP.

Segregating the different operating speeds "might" happen in the future (distant future).
but dont get your hopes up.
