Ok I realise there is lag in the game, and thats fine. But this kind of lag makes the player teleport and his energy doesnt go down when you hit him sometimes. THats fine I know that. But when you play on kaillera which is a client to emulate an emulator for online play...blah blah blah  the kind of lag you get there is button delay usually when your on 56k. Nowby button delay i mean you push the lets say punch button, and ryu performs a punch after a second and not right away. NOTE: This only hapens on bad connections. So my question is:
Is it possible to implement this kind of lag in a shockwave game? because then the cable users wouldnt have lag, and 56k users would actually have a chance of hitting an oponent without worriying that they will teleport all of a sudden behind them and hit them with a shinkuu. And when you hit somebody you actually hit him. Please reply on what you think about this, and if it will ever be possible.
P.S: You other users too

ACTUALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY, Teleport? Hmmm wondery why I've never heard of "Teleporation" in SFO. BECAUSE THERE IS NONE. What you are experiencing is when a player JUMPS or SUPER JUMPS then lands behind you. In lag you might not see the JUMP or SUPER JUMP in motion hence you thinking its teleportation. Now getting on to your problem here. I never heard of an EMULATOR able to EMULATE playable online SHOCKWAVE games across the net. Pls tell me of this emulator which is NONEXISTENT. Anyways you said you're experiencing MORE lag because of this thing? Hmmmm well then play the game like EVERYONE ELES. Download the game or either click on the mirror link to the game. IF you still are experiencing lag then OHWELL theres been a "MILLION" threads based on lag this lag that. Yah I know how you feel Im on a 2.5gig Dell Celeron, 1gig, DDR SDRAM, 140gig harddrive Geforce 4 4600TI graphics card .08 Chip-set and CABLE MODEM. BUT I cant help what the other connection the other guy has so it will still lag based on number of frames per second generated over 56k modem to my almost T1 speed cable modem. I hate to burst your bubble but Tymapp will probably close this if he reads it other than that hope I helped.

i dont think lag has all that much to do with your connection and so on .. your pc speed kinda but true lag .... i think it depends on your pc the way you play if you super jump alot mostly i think its how far you live from the server you go into .... like in emus i think that might have some effect also its more everything but where you live i think is a mojar part ppl dont forget about it ....
i think lag can be added if you do alot super jumps and use helpers the speed you play at your pc speed you connection speed where you live from the server the ports you use your ip the diffrence in where the ppl live who host extra ppl joining games and watching all adding this stuffup adds lag ... and if he made the game 0 lag some ppl wouldnt stand a chance in this game anymore... like new ppl and n() () bs who think there hot stuff that are ranked number 30 or sum ... me i havnt had any lag ever since i started ive with 56k ... than had dsl now have cable ... ever since ive had cable and an added video card i think its safe to say i am one of the top 10 ppl with the least lag but i dunna lag slows ppl down somtimes so its not all bad ... but less lag would be good but no lag wouldnt be as fun it be to fast .........

Ah yes I was thinking I needed to warn someone about their signature size. Look reduce the size of the MONSTER SIZE signature or face the penalties your choice. :D

1 - emulators uses machine based coding which allows more ressources controlled mechanizem that makes your PC more reliable to play the game, thus you get better frame rate which your computer readjusts itself automatically !
FLASH program have a set FPS which means your computer doesn't readjusts itself which sometimes if your computer isn't fast enough (more then a gig) it will surely have problem following the animations, thus going below the set FPS rate of the game, making this game having choppyness and frame skips which means images will be skipped to floow the animation, which will result in a kind of teleportation on your screen !
2 - the lag is the same whatever it be on kaillera or in here !
because lag is actually, the delay between both computers. connections have nothing to do with that lag you are speaking of !
3 - having cable or 56k means so few here.
cable = can send and receive a lot more data at the same time. which means data be received or send in mass. thus making you believe in a certain speed that you actually don't have since your modem cannot go faster then program which send data of a certain size !
so basically modem makes little to no difference in games ! except perhaps in games that have a lot of data going in and out by the seconds !
4 - the lag you are experiencing in this game is far from being due to the game, but is mainly done by your computer. which is probably below the average requirement of this game for a good experience !
** MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR A DECENT EXPERIENCE **
CPU : 1000mhz
RAM : 128 megs
VIDEO : 32 megs
MODEM : 56k
if you are somewhere very near those requirements, then you can have a decent experience, if not then its normal for you to have such a bad gameplay !
i was playing this before...
CPU : AMD K6-2 500mhz
RAM : 128 megs
VIDEO : RIVA TNT 16megs
MODEM : 36k
it was an hell on earth to play on that, even on an emulator !
now i have this...
CPU : CELERON 1700mhz
RAM : 512 DD-RAM
VIDEO : GEFORCE 4 TITANIUM 4200 64MEGS
MODEM : 36k
and believe me, sae connection, different computer, a lot of gameplay changes has happenned. now i'm almost always knowing where my opponent is !

Ken-Po, i'm sorry the others couldn't asnwer your answer(well maybe Karma did, but his Posts ar difficult to understand, sometimes), and i'm also sorry i'm not TMyApp, but i'll answer your question.
The answer to your Question is NO, because the kind of lag carries on until your comPuter can Pick it back uP. The kind of lag in Shockwave is.. it tries to refresh right away to catch on from where it Picks uP, instead of carrying like..
Get it now?

SSJKarma: I have a WAY better computer than that, yet lag still treats me like a bitch. :-|
CPU: CELERON 1.80 Ghz
RAM: 256 MB
Video: Where to find out?
MODEM: 56k

Ok, what you people are telling me here its my computer. Im confused....
Heres my system specs:
2.6ghz pentium 4
256mb ddr ram
Ati Radeon 9800 pro
windows xp
56k modem
Ok umm...my computer isnt good enough to run tmyapps 2d fighting shockwave game(i have ti downloaded on my comp)
But yet its strong enough to run Unreal tournament 2003 with all graphic levels on high and a 1024x640(i believe) resolution.
Its also strong enough to run Battlefield 1942 on all graphics high and many pc retailers.
Hmmm....btw karma thanks for your facts but I'm sorry to tell you that they dont help me much because you told me stuff I already know, but thnx anyways.
Zpower: 90% of your post is false and doesn't relate to my question(perhaps you didnt understand it, I don't blame you my english isnt very good.) But yea if there is somone out there that makes more sense please do so and post.
EDIT: I might add that my game runs 40.000 FPS(frames per second) which is the max it can go i believe. And no gameplay isnt choppy, everything is going fast just the fact that when you hit your oponent his energy doeasnt go down. Doeas teh slower computer have an advantage? Am I the lagger with the 56k connection? Thats the kind of answers I want not: "Your pc is too slow" because its not.
