A colorful sfo - Un-official new color vote

also... if anyone has any ideas on "better colors".... how about this... take a screenshot of the chat... pull up a copy of Paint/Photo-Shop/Paint-Shop-Pro ... edit it... and show me the colors that you think would beat my green-text-of-death (aka: retina-destruction-fest) :biggrin:
You asked and I delivered..... I'm not sure about the text part.. still working on that but It's the dam yellow!! It haunts me!! So I decided to change that.... the text is pretty out there still but I'll see what I can do :biggrin: Here just vote for what you like, I find that these colors weren't as deadly as the yellow *shudders* oh god the yellow..... so yea just vote and tell me what other colors would look good and possibly match these colors for the text.

I think we should use each of those colors. A different colour for each server.

Dawn of Rage Server's name should be changed to Weapon X server.

Dawn of Rage- Blue
Global Server- Pink
SFO Backup Server- Red
Tournament Server- Green

But use combinations rather than just one colour for everything like

Blue + Yellow
Pink + White
Green + Purple
Orange + Red

yep the street fighter logo behind the chat is normal, it was there only the palette had it all black. tmyapp this is what happens when you do not clear the screen too often in a program ! :colgate: (joking) anyway i did some flashy thing and to be honest my favortie is the third one ! damn is it cool or what !

I think we should have some colors and then we can pick the one we want from options menu but I voted blue semm alot of people like blue ^_^ and the text should be a light or darker verson of the chat so if its blue the text should be dark blue or ligh blue

the stuff ssj karma did was too crazy for me. The logo makes it even harder for anyone to read stuff. I like the original blue... go blue w00t !! :D but the eyestraining thing is true. Nontheless just keep it simple not like what karma did. Although good job editing that karma!

the reason it has more than 1 color for the chat text is due to me wanting to see which color best fits the white border ouline of the game. on the members list area it's 3 colors when it should only be 2 but i got lazy :biggrin: yellow would be default text color for that while the red would be the highlighted color. now the buttons, same reason as the game text, to see which suit the white border outline the best :biggrin:

This game does not save your settings, meaning you would have to go to options all the time just to change the color of your skin. Which really has no point in it cause it is just the color of the skin. And I know some people are lazy, and they will stop going to options, and we will have a skin chooser that no one really uses. That is the reality.

Just leave the default skin color. We are all use to the colors, you must be a vampire if you think the default colors are blinding. I bet if we were to choose something like "red" or "blue", the little kids on the chat are going to be like "OMFG CRIPS.. BLOODS! REPRESENT!". Pathetic. -_-

The idea of having different colors to represent different parts of the chat seems pretty logical if there needs to be a change, if not i'd be happy with things the way they.
But as for the idea itself it be something similar like....

rage factor points = red
someone entering = n/a
someone leaving = n/a

The colors for the ''n/a'' can be thought of by someone other than myself, as i can't think of something suitable to fit the criteria :biggrin:

Ya blue is alot better. The text should be the same colour as the border of the chat etc. Green herts my eyes. But There should be like a Skin Chooser dropdown in the chat so we can change the skins when we get bored of one of them.
But if that doesn't work then there should be a different color in each chat room, And the VIP's should have there own chat room where we can chat/fight etc.
