ok here is my idea.(remember its only an idea)
i have an extremely bad internet connection so loading the game takes ages everytime i get on. and after i'm nearly done loading i get disconnected. now what would really be cool is if we were able to download the X-men vs street fighter online game and install it on our computers. that way we wouldnt have to wait for the game to load. also it would be neat if the program had a "windows update style" feature so that the game could auto matically check for any updates that are put up for the game. this would be a life saver to those who cant load up their games over the internet(such as myself).
this is just an idea that i thought would be a great thing, but it would probably take up too much time to do.
but maybe someday in the near future this idea will be taken into consideration.
i also hope to hear opinions from all the other forum members.

oh well...
i wish there was something that could be done to help with the loading, because as the game gets bigger with more updates the longer the game is going to take to load.

yeah you are lucky, but unfortunatly for the 56k users the game takes an extremely long time to load. i love playing this game, but i really never get the chance to because of my modem.

montalvo: go to "tools" and "internet options", under "setttings" set it to "never" (update)...
this will make sure you do NOT re-load the game over and over....
as for a "download" .. yes, it is possible... but we dont have anyone who could provide the bandwidth/space for that version to be hosted...

tmy: where is setting in IE ? i have a french IE !
montalvo: i have a 33,600bps modem that never connect above 31,200bps and you complain ?
it's not the end of the world montalvo, i agree with the loading thing but when you tell your browser to not update the site everytimes then it is ok you dont actually download everytimes just when an update has been detected !

there is nothing i can do....
it is your browser NOT the game that tells you to "update" it (even when you don't have it)
setting it to "never" should fix the problem (unless u'r behind a proxy... )
.. also, try setting cache to more than 10 megs (that and the "never refresh" option should do the trick)

ok montalvo this is public information and this is the way i load the game and play it
i made a folder called xmvssf and i downloaded xmvssf253.dcr and xmvssf.html
these 2 files i put them in the folder and i run the html this way i dont have to load it and then if i get disconnected or it didnt save i have to redownload it again...
but the main reason i did it was cuase of my connection i use a downloading program which lets u resume ur download....
