Lag, It is quit better back in sept. 2001 "lag" was crazy. When I came back to play the game, I could see a huge improvement on lag.

Now, this is just another bitch topic Tmyapp is a very busy man and he dosen't need anyone bitching about lag to him.

Lag will never be fixed maybe could be helped a lil but nothin huge.Anyways lag is uaually caused by ur comp sometimes to wether someone has cabel t1 or 56k lag will always happen nothin we can do to help it man but this is not tmyapp's fault so cant ask him to really do anything.

first : lag is already to its minimum, it cannot be reduced more then this !

second : internet accelerators aren't really accelerating ! all they do is take your internet connection, change the packet send size to the maximum your modem can take and then they say your connection was accelrated successfully... which in fact was really not since a modem cannot be going faster then its limits !

EXAMPLE : you got a car that can go up to 200miles per hours... but you only press the pedal to half. then you accelerated the car by pressing it to the max !

has really been accelerated or was it just that you never used it to its maximum int he start ?

right answer is... windows never use your modem to its maximum cause it would only make it even more unstable !

so basically ACCELERATORS do not even fasten your connection, if it does indeed make it faster then that was because your computer was wrongly configured int he first place.

now that this has been said, let's say that lag in any other games including the commercial ones, lag is there and will always be, find me one game that do not have lag in it while playing over the net ?

name me one, just one !

Lag is not at its minimum. It can be taken down a whole hell of alot more then what it is. You guys know of mame or FBA? They dont lag like this game, when mame lags the game pauses or freezes. When this game lags, people teleport all over the place and hits that connected dont get registered. On mame EVERY hit you do counts. So yes this games lag can be decreased more then what it is, to be honest i dont see a difference in the lag now then back in november when this game first came out. Why? cause i still cant block when i am falling into a shinku haduken, and when i hit people with 3 consecutive supers they dont connect.

you are nuts if you think MAME or any other EMULATOR do not lag !

i have the same ping time on any game i play over the net.
the onlly thing that changes from game to game is the way to deal with lag, some will resync pausing the gameplay. others will not do a thing. as like this game who resync only during the supers.

so again, lag is already to its minimum.
a cable user in here with a big mahcine have always 40 FPS and has always in between 10 and 100 of ping ! which is th ecase. a normal dial-up user has always between 100 and 500 of ping which is basically right for all games you'll play on !

if whoever say otherwise, they clearly do not know anything at all about computers and internet !
do us a favor and do some research ont he matter before saying stupidities like those again !

sielnt killer lag isn't something you can controll, and it affects both computers.


there is no way to eliminate lag. every single player in this game could be using a great computer, with whatever the best internet conection is. and there would still be lag. it takes time for your computer to recieve, process and transmit data. and when it's having to keep up with the speed that a lot of people play at, the game lags.

you could have a game open in 2 windows, playing against yourself. and there would still be a couple second delay between you pressing a key, and you moving on the second screen.
