but TJ5.. it's got to be Charlie.. besides, SF Purists wouldn't want to see another Shotokaner (Dan and Sakura) added.

However, some folks might want more girls added to the game.. so I'm not gonna ignore Sakura ^_^ .. she might be a winner this time. Other than that, I don't see any other new character but Charlie... and besides, he's the character that'll take the least amount of work on TMyApp's side :biggrin:

but like I said earlier, I'm not gonna rule out the possibilities of these ones as the new additions.. but after all I've seen, I'm convinced to say Charlie would get the most amount of votes :biggrin:

heh.. My thoughts exactly... he won't get many fans if he has the same set of movelist (i.e, down for 2 seconds.. and back for 2 seconds)... but my guess is, it'll be the same down for 2 seconds forward and punch...as they are in XvsSF. This time, TMyApp would have to rely more on the scripts from XvsSF than marve| vs SF as usual if Charlie wins the votes. However, it's safe to say that no one can resist his bad arse attitude and the fact that he breaks the sound barrier and goes over mach 1 daily :biggrin:

it's not supposed to go down.. it's supposed to stay how it is, indicating how long it will take for the character to complete..

... if you vote for it, it's not supposed to go down by 5. if it did.. it would be taking away the percentiles of how long it will take to make the character. lol, we can't do that :biggrin:

Charlie has to charge his moves do you all even have a fraction of how hard it will be to beat someone using Ryu when you have to charge using computer keys no less.

And OMG Teh lagg you would think you held down and charged for 2 secs but the computer will loss sync and basicily make 4 secounds equal to 2 secs.

And if your Pc is extremely SLOW don't vote for Charlie.

You will seriousily screw over your vote.Slow PC users will get rapped litereally if they have to charge moves.

Someone with DSL or a Cable Modem will handle the average Dail Up 56K user...man handle.

Also Charlie has grab moves too.....just like Cammy...so duhhh...

Im think Charlie will be linked with Chun Li in a way, like her kikouken, back down forward... and im pretty sure it will be quite fast, to give him an extra boost, Im reckon the Flash kick will be put like the shryuken, or maybe as a charge.. SBYRD has a pretty dam good point as well. Charging is something most player are not use to u CANT just hit buttons in just like that for sonic boom. Smart user of guile know how to combo the move like *cruch low kick flash kick*. This is not a move to repeat over and over. And if Tmy changes it I will be PISSED. Cuase that is BS that Chralie get no charges on a move but u still have to charge Chun-lis birdkick.

And this is like the same shiznit with Gambit. Most ppl never even played as him nor know his hitory yet they put so much hype on this one person just because they think he looks <span style='font-size:12pt;line-height:100%'>COOL!STYLE!</span>

And to make one thing clear <span style='font-size:17pt;line-height:100%'>Sakura and Dan are NOT! Shotokans fighters</span>. Dan has his own fighting styles and so does Sakura. At one point she did idol Ryu and still does but she trains to beat him even if it she has to take him down with his own moves. Dan is the combo super person. And another person I find great for the vote is Dahlism I love the sight of seening him do his yoga flame on spidey in the air when spidy keeps doing that dam spidy kick! He is a perfect chioce to this game he has distince and melle abilitys. The man can teleport for crying out loud.

If Dan,Skura or Dhalsim get voted ill be happy, they all make great fighters and a new spice to the game. but im still thinking of voting for Sakura

Teleporting will be a lag, you see how Spiral teleports it takes her like 6 seconds... teleportion bad idea. In regular games Dhalism seems slow to me. Also what about Dhalism super move when he grabs you by the neck with his two feet flips in certain amount of times and drops you down on the ground. but then again grabbing cannot work. With the Zangief as 99% are you going to make his Final Atomic buster how it usually is with the hard configuration or just your configuration with the down + forward? Grabbing will cause some lag, because the users can teleport in a snap and afterwards no one will barely use Zangief. Why not Fei Long, Sagat, Adon or Rose? but hey... the poll is made.

To go more in depth than the people above, Sakura is the original fighting school girl. Starting her fighting career at the age of thirteen (the year she first saw Ryu fight, and when she idolized him), and becoming a street fighter and Street Fighter Alpha 2 at the age of 14, Sakura is a fighting prodigy. Without any previous training other than her 13th year of life, she went off into the world to fight Ryu, and on the way met Sagat. I'll assume she beat him in the fight that ensued, due to him falling so much since his defeat from Ryu, and because Sagat's midboss in the game isn't Sakura.

Meeting up with Ryu, she fights with him. Winning, though because Ryu "lets" her, Sakura is left with only a momento of Ryu as he leaves and declines her a chance to be his student on the grounds that he still needs to learn himself.

SFA3: The whole story behind sfa3 is kinda freaky. She's still looking for Ryu, but this time to find out the true meaning of the word "fight". She meets with E. Honda, who tells her of where Ryu could be, and then she goes off. Along her journey to find Ryu, Sakura meets up with Ken, and I believe Sagat as well. Then they find *Psycho* Ryu and Bison, and Sakura and Ken fight off Bison while Sagat fights with Ryu. We all know M. Bison loses, and that Ryu returns to normal, and then Sakura promises to become ten times stronger than she is.

...And that's pretty much all of her SF history. We don't really know what's happened to her since then.

.....Oh, and I voted (needless to say) for Sakura, because she's kawaii and she kicks ass. (excuse my language)

I really don't think that Dhalsim is a good choice, because of lag. His teleport move will cause some seriouse lag, so I don't think he will be a great choice at this time.

Even though Dan has some original attacks, he is still a shoton fighter. The same thing goes for Sakura. They just are not that original compared to Charlie.

I know everyone is saying that Charlie has to charge his attacks, but TMy realizes that. I doubt that he would put in a character that would stand NO chance of winning against the other characters. TMy will probably modify his moves in some way to make them better suited for SFO. Just like he made Wolvie's drill claw take away energy so he wasn't too cheap.

Anyway's the SFO doesn't have a character anything like Charlie. I think Charlie would be an original character for SFO. Besides think of all of the things that could be implemented along with Charlie. Not only are we going to get a new character, but a new story mode, and other additions as well. You can bet TMy has a lot more planned than just a new character. He always has something up his sleeve :D .

Think of the possibilites if Charlie was added. New enemies possibly, such as Sagat and or Bison. Many things could be added to go along with Charlie, since his story is so mysterious, and extensive. We could also possibly see the arrival of a dark Charlie, maybe SHADOW CHARLIE ???.

This is why I say VOTE CHARLIE!!!!!!!!!!!! VOTE CHARLIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! VOTE CHARLIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Dan was kicked out of Gouken's dojo, and he started his own little knockoff. My guess, is that there's some Muay Thai in there, because of his father, and the rest comes from Dan.

Sakura is literally a self-trained girl. She started training when she was thirteen because she saw Ryu fight. In that one year, between school and everything, she somehow managed to learn how to throw/create Hadoukens (all three of her versions, people) and be very good at fighting. However, though she copies Ryu's fighting style, all of her moves are very raw, and they're different versions of the special attacks Ken and Ryu learned. Thus, that would technically place her into her own little branch of the style, Ansatsuken (which is what Ken and Ryu learned a toned down version of). For more proof, take a look at the attacks she has, compare them to Ryu and Kens, and even look at the names. They're different, except for the Hadouken; but hers, like Ken and Ryu's and Akuma's, are totally different from everyone else.

As for why Rose isn't there, it's because she was not made into a VS. game yet.

roll sakuras hadoukens has to charge up in order for her to do it thats why she is a bad choice 2 cuz she has to take time to charge up and ryu just blasts them

If i do it with a weak punch it will come out fast and travel far but the speed of it is slow. And if I was to use hard punch it would delay a sec but blow out big kind of like Chun-lis super in SnkvsSF Choas.

She is like the only one who can luanch a hadouken

So r you saying that sakura is better than rose? i mean at least rose knocked bison on the ground. Sakura has never fought bison b4, and beside, even if she did i don't think she even has the chance of knock him down on the ground.(opinion)

First, I really think we should take this else where, chic.

Second, Rose may be a part of Bison, but that means little. That only means she's part of him, not that she shares his strength.

Third, I didn't really say Sakura could beat Rose. Honestly, I don't think there is a way for us to tell who would win between them, and I think they wouldn't fight anyway, if they had met. I mean, Sakura is a traveling fighting school girl, and Rose is a psychic soul power user who *was* going after Bison (until they united, shortly after kicked the bucket thanks to Akuma). Honestly, I don't think they'd ever cross paths.

Fourth, Rose only has one projectile attack, if you don't count her using her super version. Her distance attacks don't give her much distance anyway. What's 1 foot of a shawl going to do to someone, especially if they dodge it?

Fifth, Sakura is 16 during SFA3; she is not a little girl. Even if she was, that would be more of a reason for Ryu to consider her his rival. but doesn't, because both of them already HAVE rivals. Ryu has Ken, and Sakura has Karin. Also, why would Sakura make her idol into her rival?

Sixth, Sakura did meet with Bison, and she did fight with him, alongside Ken, while Ryu was Psycho Ryu. Bison ended up having to flee from that battle, but he didn't do bad damage to Sakura or Ken like he did to Rose.

While most of that's true, Sakura would probably be the one saving Ryu. ^_^; Sakura may be a little.. carefree, but that's part of what,hypothetically and theoretically speaking, allows her to control her ability to change into Dark Sakura (see MvC2). If anything, her heart is so pure that she can control the dark and light sides. It does make sense, considering that in MvC2 she doesn't get weak with her vitality when she becomes dark (unlike Akuma is, and he's always dark..). Rather, she just gains an attack, she becomes way stronger, and she changes her form a bit.

..and from the looks of it, it looks like a run between Charlie and Sakura, with Dan and Dhalsim catching up. Who will win this political race? Find out next time on...

well for all i remember, MvsC2 doesn'T even have any story !
tho i never played the arcades, the DC counterpart is exacly the same as the arcade so i'm sure there is no stories if there are no stories then there are no reality in these moves these characters does !

so basically, her evil self doesn't even exists !
if anything to use the dark hado you must have evil in you, thus ryu has cause he keeps that grudge over akuma, that's also why ken doesn't go evil, cause he live his life without keeping any grudge against anyone !

for sakura, its only a matter of kicking butt and having fun, nothing can go against that and she surely won't go evil on anybody, thus she cannot master the dark hadou ! and since she doesn't even learn the moves from the real sensei (which is dead) and since ryu or ken never told her what it is, she cannot even know what it is !

but let's forget that... i mean its not even going to be the same in here !

well for all i remember, MvsC2 doesn'T even have any story !
tho i never played the arcades, the DC counterpart is exacly the same as the arcade so i'm sure there is no stories if there are no stories then there are no reality in these moves these characters does !
Of course MvC2 has no storyline. NONE of the vs. games have any real storylines. Rather, they really have implications made in there. For example, why a Dark Sakura instead of Evil Ken, or something? Why? Because Sakura is willing to take the fighting to the upper levels, while Ken just wants to be rich, drive in his car, and have children. So, basically, there are reasons behind the moves, as they are really just.. well, implications of what the character would do.


so basically, her evil self doesn't even exists !
if anything to use the dark hado you must have evil in you, thus ryu has cause he keeps that grudge over akuma, that's also why ken doesn't go evil, cause he live his life without keeping any grudge against anyone !
Boy, do you have it wrong. You do not need to have evil in you, you need to have the will to fight and the desire to become the strongest fighter ever. That's why there is no evil Ken, and why there is a Dark Sakura: Because Ken has other things in life to worry about, canon-wise of course, while Sakura can do as she pleases with her life. When you think about Sakura so far, you have to admit that she will more than likely become Dark Sakura later on, even if they don't show it yet. If they produce an SF4, and if it includes Sakura in it, I'm absolutely sure that Sakura will have the Dark Hadou, whether she's a secret character, or just transformable, or she changes in an ending, etc.

for sakura, its only a matter of kicking butt and having fun, nothing can go against that and she surely won't go evil on anybody, thus she cannot master the dark hadou ! and since she doesn't even learn the moves from the real sensei (which is dead) and since ryu or ken never told her what it is, she cannot even know what it is !
For Sakura in SFA2/SFA (they're the same story, but with more people in #2), it is only a matter of having fun and kicking butt. If you really played SFA3, you should be able to tell that it's not about that anymore. Plus, Ryu does not really understand or know what the Dark Hadou is, and Sakura DOES learn (vaguely) about it, as seen by her ending in SFA3. That does happen, btw. That's how she found out about it. And who gives a damn whether she learned everything from a master or not; fact is, she still uses the same martial arts, even if it is so raw that she made her own versions of the special attacks. You don't need to be in contact with some old guy to be able to use some form of martial arts.

why would you want RYU's hadouken to be like SAKURA ? i mean they are big yes but they don't even go all the way, they like do as much as DAN HIBIKI in range, only they are a little stronger !
Actually, if you had played with Sakura once, and if you had only pushed the stonger punch buttons, maybe you'd have noticed that her hadouken does go across the screen, and it goes way farther than Dan's Gadouken, even when you use the jab version. Of course, I doubt you've played as her in the vs. games, or else you wouldn't have said that.
Of course, even if it did go only as far as Dan's Gadouken, a little more damage can mean the difference between you being a winner, or you losing to someone who had less than a millimeter of Vitality left.

Just wanted to clear that up. Also, I'll be happy with whoever we get, but I just really think Sakura would be a good addition. I mean, we have Ken, Ryu, and Chun-li, so why not complete the circle of friends?

and actually her hadoukens does not go all the way, they vanish after a while, just like ken's hadokens !
ok, also there is the fact thats he shoot diagonnally not horinzontally which does render her hadoukens a little less eficient agaist ground fighters ! but it would be surely helping a lot against jumping characters.

in any way, none of her hadokens goes all the way until it isn't seen anymore, like ryu's balls ! her's disappear before the end of the screen !

They should not change charlies moves, Then he would be a character for the advanced players of sfo to use. Like he is in the arcades he is a challenging character to use and a difficult character to master.
