Avatar sizes.. - A serious request...mods/admins plz read

i am requesting that the allowable avatar sizes for the site be raised just a little, the size we have at the moment is just a tad too small and peoples pictures are hard too make out they too damn pixelized, could we get it raised to 80 x 80 - its not that that much more of a strain on the forum bandwidth but i feel it would allow people to express themselves more and the av's to achually be readable/viewer friendly. hopefully you can take this into serious consideration and not just blow it off like all the past threads about this im sure. =/

The avatar sizes have been bigger for days now.
You can all thank 2000Warrior for the change.
...i dunno the exact spec's but they are about 75x75..i think.

but they are definetly bigger then they were a few days ago.

EDIT: just checked, nosoul, there is no change in the avatar size we can have.......I know that the mods can get theirs pretty big, but nobody else

It's true though, look at the space allocated to avatars compared to the total area that CAN be used. Yes we appreciate the new sizings, but I believe they can still be a little bigger.

- do you really really need an avatar that big ?
- why would you want an avatar bigger, if its the post that count not the image that almost nobody ever looks at ?
- why asking for bigger when you know the very first avatar size was 16x16 ?

from 16x16 to 64x64, i think its already enough, as for asking bigger then that, well check the second question and know for yourself why i think its already enough to have 64x64 !

you want a bigger image, go for it in your signature like everybody else !

like i sated in my first post, its a form of self exspression, and i would be happy with 75 x75 if it happened that would be great, i just feel at the moent that the dimensions we have now make your image looks pixelized and ugly, i know that we have already had them changed a great deal bigger but if you are going to do it do it right, i know that the extra dimension size could improve peoples avatars just that much better. Also in my opinion if this forim is a bit more "visual friendly" it would get people posting more because they would be interested more in the site.
