View Full Version : Disable chat while fighting? - Would be nice to do. :d

Well from time to time, you have /\/oobs that talk during a match. And this is distracting. To take the time to close that window while fighting, takes away precious time. So would there be a way, to add a feature to disable it? If it's not to hard to implement that is. I bet there would be a lot of people, who agree with me. :buttrock:

all ready spoke with TMy about this one...says he'll see what he can "come up with"...how soon might we see this option...ehh...well im hoping with the next release...but i dunno for sure.
But yes disabling the in-fight chat would be a great option.
Because like you said...lotsa people probably feel the same way about the chat, and would prefer to disable it.

i agree with you. i cant stand seeing that thing open up cause during the match, i am all business.

Yeah that'll be a good idea to let it flash and then it doesn't open. But what if what the opponent wants to say is really really important?? :0

i nearly lost a clan wars..game cause of that..maybe u should hav an option cause i teach ##### all the time..also u can type if u 4got 2 do yo controls etc etc

well i think like you can open the chat fast with the "t" key
so tmy will do some key that close the chat fast. this way you can chat and close the chat fast when you need to.

errrr... i'm i the only one who can continu to fight normally without being disturbed when this thing comes out ?

i mean... guys, its SEE-THRU, and the fact is, when it pop-out your keys still works for the fight until you actually click on the chat window !

remember, we had the very same problem and tmyapp fixed it that way !
that thing comes out... just ignore it and continu to fight ! when you got a little second spare, close it !

at least that's what i do !
its no big deal, really !

anyway...
i'll be with you guys anyway, but if i were tmyapp, i wouldn't put that as a primary thing to do !

yea i thinks thats better because when i fight i chat sometime if he sucks but i press t to open it and then i have 2 use my mouse and click on it i dont liek that

I can continue fighting even thuogh the chat box is open without having to close it. I find getting flamed in the middle of the fight somewhat discouraging but more annoying than anything else.

yup..and sometimes you just dont giva f@ck what the other player has to say..and they keep talking...and talking...and talking...and talking.
GRRR! very irritating indeed...when i enter a match..im there to fight..not chat..or have my view limited by a chat box.

A disable feature would rock..have it set to give the "chatter" a default messege like "Player has disabled their chat." after they try and contact you...as well as a good ol' boot to the face for attempting to do something other than fight.

Or just have the chat tab, flash green like in hosted tag games...thats probably the best way to handle the situation I guess.

Well usually the chat box just flashes but
on this 2 on 2 game. I was fighting
and I kept closing it, and it still
kept opening when someone said.
That was rare for me, it usually stays close
until I open it.
And There is a key to quickly close the chat box.

it's "Esc" ...but one big problem!

On the download version it complete closes the game.
:laugh: When I first got the download version.
I would leave games a lot...but I've gotten used to it now.
