View Full Version : Helper and assist types - Just like mvc2

Gokan gave me a good idea, why don't we have the ability to choose which type we want, for example, let's say I'm playing a 1 on 1 tag with helpers, I'll have the ability to choose what they do when they come out, for example:


character 1 I choose is Ryu

Character 2 I choose is Cyclops

Helper I choose is Blanka


Character 1 Ryu will have the ability to pick:

projectile type(hadouken)

anti air type(shoryuken)

expansion type(spin kick)

The ryu in this game is always on projectile type, which is pretty bad for Ryu, so maybe we can change that.

Character 2 Cyclops will ahve the ability to pick:

projectile type(optic blast)

Anti Air Type(Gene Splice)

Expansion type(Cyclone kick)

The Cyclops in this game is set on projectile just like Ryu, hmm... I believe every character in this game is set to a projectile like type, anyways...


Helper Blanka will have the ability to pick:

Ground type(rolling attack which he already has)

Expansion type(roll in which he flips back, then flips forward and hits you)

Anti Air type(vertical roll)


Basically, you get the point of what I'm trying to say. If this is implented, there will be many styles in the game, and people won't moan that they got a bad helper, or wasted they're helper, or wasted half their meter.

That would be pretty good,and how about if the chooser can choose if they want this option when they pick their characters (I can predict most people are impatient and will say they were cheated because they picked incorrect options). :)

In MvC2, when you pick a character, you pick a type. The type means when you pull out the character, they'll do the assist for what type you picked them on, for example:

Ryu is picked on anti-air type, in the battle, when you call out Ryu for an assist, he'll do a shoryuken(which is an anti air).

i havent been here for a week cuz i had 2 move so mah cable net cut off so now im using aol ......
so is spider man out yet i cant go 2 da game cuz aol is so damn slow :angryfire:

i think she could just have the ability to make us choose where she will be teleporting.
example:
AIR DOGE TYPE = she teleports you in the air
BACK DODGE TYPE = she teleports you behind the opponents
SWITCH TYPE = she switch you with the opponent !
or anything like that !

as for SCORPONOK...
ASSIT TYPE = when you call out a partner he will be doing what TarkanX said, but in MvsC2 it is more then that, it is also the kind of SUPER the ASSIST will do in a 3 HYPER super !

knowing that, i prefer do the DELAYED HYPERS !
it is kind of better and i can choose which one does what and at what time !

Do you guys know what would be even better? Having AIR COMBOS in this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This will never be like the real game without air combos.

air combos ? i had never needed them as all my friends are blocking my every combo starters !

but you're right air combos would bring much more to this game, as well as bringing more hatred about air combos not actually hitting anything and suddently the guy is the other way around and blasting you to hell !

same problems, whatever the idea is, lag is always blocking our idea from reaching the goal !

anyway... air combos, it will take lots of time before it happens !

Projectile: Sword Dance (right name?)

How about if you select evade,it leads into another menu that says the evasion for the user to select?
