thanks to our wonderful ISP the web version of SFO (along with most of the website) was down for the last 2.5 days... but, as you all know i have said that the next chapter of TLF will continue (in the forum of a new TLF "member" and a brand-new DWX Chronicle) on Oct 9th, 2004 ... and so, here we are :biggrin:

what can u expect in this version ?? well, without going into the info found in the upcoming Chronicle (which should be released later today... ) you might notice that most of the characters were "tweaked"

this includes Bison, Ken, cyc|ops and sp

the game's FPS is also locked at 35 (and not 40, as seen in all other versions of SFO)... why ?? simple... the last 5 frames are wasted, and could be responsible for creating some of the lag in the game... so... this change was made... and i guess we'll have to see just how well it works

i have a 1.2mb connection my advantage has TOTALLY gone i dont think ill be playing sfo hardly ever now.

its totally wrecked my game play i used to be SUPER fast

i logged on and i was like WTF??? The last 5 frames make a HUGE HUGE HUGE difference more then youll ever no.

Tmyapp this fps lock is a backwards way of thinking, it gives an even bigger advantage to the lower end pc users. Gaming is always about moving forward woundt you want to benifit higher end pc users.

Ive been playing games only in other peoples host and i move so slow, you woudnt no how much of a difference the 5 frames make to me and users like me "alamgir " so far...i no this will effect more people for the worse. and my blocking doesnt seem much different.

you don't know what FPS is huh to have said that !
FPS = FRAME PER SECONDS as in number of images per seconds, this has completely nothing to do witht he gameplay itself, it doesn't change a single thing, otherwise tmyapp wouldn't have changed it. the fps is nothing more then a way to know if you lag or not, it doesn't even affect gameplay.

your computer is just as fast with or without the last 5 frames, all it does is spip 5 frames which i'm sorry to say , but between 32 and 64 frames per seconds, your eyes doesn't even see the difference.

conclusion, your just giving yourself excuses, i don't know why but gameplay is sure not touched here ! thus you are actually as fast as you normally is, thing is if you slowed down don't put it on the last 5 frames cause it sure isn't that !

as for the charcaters being a tad slower, well it can be since he said they were fixed !
i sure hope spidey kick has been fixed cause sp

lol I got some suggestion for me :sarcasm: , the ryu is cool but its like " yellow, green " looks good but cant you make it more gold and if you cant, can you make it like shine or glow like when you do rage factor the red shine make it gold through the whole fight :confused: , and can I get infinity rage factor like I got on my vip because when I want to turn to normal it takes it down and I have to log on RyusInvasion to get it back to 3 then log back on Ryusinvasion to use it I was wondering if you can make it alittle easier for me on the next update, thanks :buttrock:
