Last server - We need that open

As you know we have one server that not open. I was wondering y don't we make that server for Vets only. With a password access. It's like a lounge only since it's getting fulled of new people. I know i could host that server if TMyApp let me. Or get one of his staff to do it. but hey what do you think VETs. About VIP sorry new vip even if youdonated this is for VET only. Not flamming or spamming it just an idea. Someone could lie being of being a VET. Well we could have a Bot. Lier will get kick out when they enter or get IP on that server. Also it won't be hard to pass e-mail cuz i got no problem e-mail people with password or PM me

ooo thats server has been closed for a looooooooong time, i dont think the owner of that server wll open it back up iam not sure..ask blanka 09 cus i asked him the same question you just asked. I dunno for VETS because its pretty hard to define a vet, ive been playing since may 02 i dunno if iam considered a vet or not...i think it should be use for highly experienced fighters, like top knotch fighters may haps?

I doubt its gonna happen, even a password protection would work.
People give out there account passwords, do you really think someone won't give out the server password?

Also i don't think you could consider yourself a vet.
Vets are the guys that stared playing in 2001-2002.

not gonna happen...seeing as how the game only reconizes a certain ammount of groups like..VIP's, tournament winners and normal accounts...we would have to create a whole new group account for vets and transfering ppl to such an account it way to much work. we have 4 servers that work...YET you guys love to stay in only 1 server leaving 3 empty servers mainly always leaving global server abandoned even though i went to the trouble of getting a temporary host about 2 months ago...a password server will also never happen because we got kids that can never keep passwords to themselves alas 80% of the VIP's we have now...a bot wouldn't be anygood in such a case because ppl could easily disconnect/reconnect online instantly getting a brand spanking new ip anytime they are banned...except for you cable users of course :biggrin:

There is no official policy on how to judge who is a vet and who is not. To do so could be discrimination and would just cause bitching.

It's not going to be hard transfering perk won't be hard. Just make a password access to the server that it :biggrin:

Exactly.. there's no point adding another server or revamping one that has been dead for a while, when the other servers.. ESPECIALLY the global server aren't being used.

I'm hosting that server and I always... ALWAYS question myself as to why I'm leaving it open cause no one ever comes there. What's the point adding another server ifusers don't even make use of the ones they already have. Until they're all utilized to the fullest, there wouldn't be any new or "special" server coming :biggrin:

And for your prospects of passwords, just like Nferno666 said, I got someone in the server (not mentioning any names) who basically tries to get girlfriends in the chat room with the promise of giving them a VIP account. Now he has given that account to 3 different people (2 girls... 1 guy.. O_O) .. lol

but my point is, if we can't keep passwords that are for accounts to ourselves, what's the assurance that the password to enter this "special" server would be kept??

So I don't think that'll happening anytime soon :biggrin:

seeing as how the trust between TMyApp and VIP's is still not up in pair after the whole crisis that occured a while back...password protected servers will NOT happen like i said before. doesn't matter if they are Vets or not...when little things like that happen it tend to kill off lots of possibility for the community

that is true...the subject about users leaving 3 servers empty, more servers for me to relax in.. :D ..lol back to the case, instead ofusing the ooscanoo server why dont we use the global server, make use of what we already have. There has to be another way ofusing that server for only vets/exp. players with out the password. it's because people think it's the main one. Hey what we could do is make the server get a max number of people entering. Example 20, once it get 20 we can get a message saying MAX please visit next server

ya... i actually like that, to get the other servers used we should put a limit on how many members can join each server, so the use of each server will be distributed equally.

I think this is a more reasonable idea than the VET server...i think :confused:

there's already a maximum limit on the server it's 50 I believe
and this doesn't make sence since tourney server backup server and global server are practically always empty so just go there and have ur fun

tourny shut down VIP so that ok. Doesn't have to get full their but just saying make it to 20 cuz 50 if that so cuz so much lag and people can't send message.

i have been testing that already..and it only leads to kids comming to the forum COMPLAINING that dor is DOWN when i set the limit to 30...instead of going to another server they come complain to me or just leave SFO for like an hour untill DOR isn't so full...it's like GLOBAL server doesn't exist...

heres are how the servers look daily:

DOR: 40+ ppl at all times..
Global: within 24 hours it gets maybe 10ppl total who have gone in...
Backup: usually always have 3-5 ppl...
Tournament: same as backup

When DOR is down...every1 flocks to tournament server still leaving the perfectly NEW global abandoned..
