well... this chronicle is a bit harder to "figure out" .. *cough*

so.. unless you just give out answers to the "codes" ... *cough*.. you can help someone by providing them some general information (ie: info on how to solve all the OTHER codes from the old chronicles)....

as it has been mentioned by 2000warrior in the past... once a new chronicle is released, answers (and info on how to solve them) may be given out to the old ones .. :biggrin:

The old chronicles were solved by taking each letter and then finding what place it was in the alphabet and then adding 13. The letter would be what number it was in the alphabet. its much easier than it sounds... ill give an example:
If one of the letters was A:

1(A)+13=14(N)


A is the 1st letter in the alphabet. add 13 to one, and you have 14. the 14th letter in the alphabet is N.

you're right TMyApp, it has been long. Obviously, we all know two of the "codes". The other two have a different lettering system. Now, I don't know about the three word one, but the one in the upper-right corner has something interesting about it. It has a : and two / in it, which in the last chronicle signified something to type in practice mode (now story mode). I think there's another addition to the game that you access through the practice mode again. I still haven't figured it out, but the best thing to do is, figure out that three letter word before the :. I tried Put or Try (as in try : /code/ or Put: /code/ as a prompt to show that you can put the code in the game. But, alas, i couldn't get anything substantial yet off this. ill post again if i do

here's possibly another useless tidbit i found: in all the the chronicles it says in the bottom-right corner "does not contain UCNI (or is that MCNI.....)". Anyway, its hard to see in this chronicle, but easier in the other three. I doubt this has anything to do with the code, but im running out of ideas. I sat down and tried to crack the codes cryptoquote style for 20 min. but just couldn't. hope this helps sum1 figure it out.....

ludacris i got onslaught in practcie mode only.
All he does is specials anywayz.
special 1 is= down + forward+all three punches thats for the beam from the floor

special 2 =down + back + all three punches thats for the gasous bubbles

special 3= down + forward + all three kicks thats for the sential beam which is the best one to me

special 4 = down + back + all three kicks thats for the flaming charge.

sential missle is up down punch (or kick) not sure.

can u tell me the code to use him in games

one more thing-(too much jackie chan) onslaught is hard to use in practice against the other onslaught because all onslaught does is special and every time u use a special the other onslaught hits u with a helpers.

on the whole web hope thing......there aren't many vets left around to confirm what im about to say, but hey, i think you can all agree im pretty reliable. About, say, 3 months or so ago, TMyApp mentioned (in a pretty random spot i believe) that he had "big things" planned for venom. Now, i thought web hope dealt with spioderman, but hey, maybe TMy's decided to do his venom thing, eh? anyway, big green: think of everything big here, and also green, and use your knowledge of previous codes to figure this.

karma, first you say im wrong with the meaning of use three, b/c u said u found out that web hope was real. Now, you are telling ppl what it means and that web hope was wrong! Plus, everyone already knows this b/c its been said a thousand times! this is why this thing is so long! But, look here's how im going about the third code:

Like its been mentioned, the code must be a command. this means that the first word should be a command word, like "use" or "put" or maybe an abbrev. like "ent" (for enter). Im gonna solve it just pluggin in letters using the first word as a base. Plus, the second word has to do something with the chronicles (the 2nd chronicle's code was /weaponx) Maybe this one is "jean" or something. I want us to solve this tho, so lets show TMyApp we're as smart as he thought we'd be.

i just said that if you use 3 as a base at the place of 13, you finish by getting WEB:/HOPE/ so yes, it would have been a very good guess !

for the word JEAN, i tryed that already and there is no chance at all that would get there ! i also tryed BASE and GREY for the first 3 letters in front of that, i though about SAY as in SAY:/****/ like SAY this command. no luck !

now the only thing i get his that WEB:/HOPE/ that's the only thing that works right ! but tmyapp has deoriented me by saying it wasn't that !

the first 3 codes are the one to look at !
the 4th one (3 word code) is a FAKE meaning TMyApp has pushed random letters on his keyboard !

1 = KEEP LOOKING
2 = USE THREE
3 = WEB:/HOPE/

now the third one explain what to do to have the REAL CHRONICLE ! (this one is real but a hidden message has been send by someone) :laugh:

since the solution has NOT been posted by 2000warrior (dude must be busy... *cough*... )

here it is:

as metioned, only 3 of the 4 codes are real... and only TWO of them could be solved using the old "ROT13" way...

they are:

"KEEP LOOKING" and "USE THREE"

the "use three" means two things... one.. "use only three of the four codes given".. and second, "offset the letters by three" .. if u do that, u'll get the code in the top right... which is:

"WEB: /HOPE/"

the only thing that code was ment to say was "go on the web, in the /hope/ directory".. if u did that (ie: put /hope/ at the end of the main site url) u would have got the "secret chronicle"... either one of these 2 url's would have worked:

and if u read the whole thing (i know that is VERY hard for some people)... u'd realize that even though this seemed like "the end" for "Weapon-X".. it is not... "there is still hope"
